Absolutely LOVED Thai Nyyom. Both the Chicken and Rice and the Chicken Khao Soi were phenomenal. Wonderful mango salad and the best Thai Iced Tea i've ever had. You can really taste the authenticity and home-style cooking here. Will be back for sure!
Chicken Khao Soi is incredible!! I’ve never had anything quite like it. Lots of flavour, good spice level and beautiful presentation. Chicken meat fell right off the bone - amazing! Location is very calming and the atmosphere/lighting really works for the place. Feels like you’re being served an authentic home cooked meal!! I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.
We came here at dinner time when table is full, kinda busy at night time. Food was really good and authentic compared to most of Thai restaurant in range. Menu includes only 5-8 dishes, but it was all taken care of well. Customer service was super good and friendly. Will come back to try the fried rice.
I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while! Simple menu which makes it easy to order. Ordered the chicken wings, steamed chicken, khao soi and the daily special which was a pork curry. Overall pretty good! I thought the portion sizes were a bit questionable since it came in small wrapping but it ended up being more than enough for the both of us!
Food was well presented but seasoning was off. I found the beef balls to be too strongly seasoned and the chicken noodle curry lacking in umami. The menu appears to change daily/weekly. Best to call ahead to confirm menu.
Dined in with a group of 5 and ordered chicken rice, chef special changes daily- today was khao soi beef, khao soi chicken, Thai iced tea and tago dessert. Consistently amazing flavours, well cooked meat, good portion size for one person and decent prices compared to other well rated Thai places in Toronto. I was able to sub rice noodles for egg noodles in the sago for GF option, which was appreciated. The server was super friendly as well. There is limited seating: 2 tables with 4 chairs, a small table with 2 chairs, and 2 seats by the window. We went at 12:30 on Saturday and didn’t have to wait for seating. Most people seem to order takeout from here.
Solid Thai lunch spot for good price! The interior was nicely decorated with plants and harbored a good vibe. I ordered for takeout and everything came really nicely packed. The portion is quite large and I wasn't able to finish all the food. Overall, very rich curry flavored noodles. I do feel like the veggies greens given is a bit on the lower side, but highly reccomend it.
2022 September 4.5 This small and cozy restaurant serves authentic Thai foods. Though their menu appears to change once in a while, they always have the staples. There's room for about 15 patrons. Two 4 person tables, one 2 seater, and a window option that sits 3, maybe 4 tightly. Deep fried chicken wings $8 7 pieces of deep fried chicken with a sweet chili sauce. Not bad. Khao Soi Chicken $14 One of their staple dishes. Rich curry soup noodles with chicken. Very good. Thai iced tea $4 Better than most. Rich in flavor. Coconut layered cake $7 Just the perfect sweetness. Coconut and a bit of pandan. Stewed Pork Leg $17 Hints of five spice, this was tender and gelatinous. Papaya Salad $12 Thin slivers of a less ripe papaya, dried mini shrimp, tomatoes, beans, hot peppers and peanuts. Crunchy with a sweetness from the sauce. Street parking nearby and it's free. Would recommend. Parking: Limited Free Street parking.
A cute tiny restaurant in the Dundas West/Lansdown area, with a small but delicious food menu. Staff are quick to assemble and relay the orders and they take credit card here! Would come back to try the rest of the menu. We ordered the Thai Iced Tea and Chicken Rice to bring home. It smelled so delicious; that we ate our food too quickly to take a photo! The chicken rice comes wrapped in a paper-like material with the chicken, rice and cucumbers. The sauce and soup came on the side. The food was delicious with the rice, chicken and sauce mixed up. It reminded me of Hainanese Chicken on Rice. Their Thai Iced Tea was delicious and came in a handy plastic bag/holder for take-out. Do note, the lid has an exposed opening for the drinking and cannot be covered. Their menu has permanent options like chicken rice, vegan rice, khao soi chicken. Also, they have a chef's special that changes daily. No MSG too! Their staff was very responsive on identifying any allergies and conveyed how long food would be. Their ordering system was easy and seamless. Their decor and the vibe is great here!
Had the vegetarian pad Thai and previously the Khao Soi and Fried Chicken. Great place to eat. Friendly staff. Generous portions. Wish they had a vegetable dish like the morning glory which the chef ate to round out its offerings. Only comment would be to clean area towards washroom.
