Yes, this is one of the best restaurants in 50 miles radius. Trust me, I am very fussy with taste and quantity per serving... They will have you covered with BOTH.

Well... Yes, it is a nice looking place and there is not much one can say about DRINKS, same old. But the food is more a "wannabe" Italian than anything else. No imagination whatsoever. An Italian from Italy will not done there. But it's OK for locals.

We had our anniversary dinner there in April. It was good. The service was amazing, the portions generous and the food was good. The renovations the new owners have done are brilliant, and the restaurant no longer feels like the cave it once was. Now it is an inviting atmosphere that encourages you to enjoy your meal and hang around awhile. Reservations suggested for weekends, especially dinner service or for large groups.

Service was great! My favorite part of the evening was the midi accordian/vocalist, Jerry Nicolato. He transformed a simple “dinner out” into a “romantic evening out” with my husband of 35 years—such a gorgeous tenor voice! Upon request he sang, for his first time, “Lady” — the song my husband sang to me at our wedding; and to my amazement, he completely nailed it! Very talented, and totally pulls off a high-end dining experience. Vesuvio’s made a great decision to create such nice ambiance via Mr. Nicolato.

Great place to eat..... Great food and good prices....... the owners are a wonderful family.........
