Small but cute beach.nGreat for kids, as you can keep a close eye on them and it's not too crowded if you get there early. It opens at 10am.nThe lifeguards are very nice and vigilant.nIt's a free beach, but the parking if you choose to be close by will cost you about $16 for the day, or you can pay per as many hours as needed.nThere are mobile bathrooms available up the hill that are kept clean 2 minutes from the beach.nThe beach has little fish and sea weed. The water is refreshing on a not day. Bring your own shade with a sun umbrella or tent, as the entire beach you are under the sun.
A real gem in Verdun, great vibe!nWater can get quite cold and murky but great for cooling off or going for a quick swim. Great place to tan too.nThe grounds and changing rooms are generally well kept, even more so than the locker rooms at the nearby pool.nCan get sketchy in the evening though, particularly on the eastern end, I’ve seen drug use and some very intoxicated people. Be vigilant. There’s limited security during the day, but it can be anarchy in the evening.
Small, dense beach when I went on a Friday evening, but very clean and fun. Everyone was nice and it’s so seamlessly integrated into the neighborhood and the park surrounding. 1 lane at the end for laps and water was brisk and cool. Probably goes up to 6 feet
It was great to spend such a hot day in this place. I liked the side of the beach I was in, it was peaceful and nice. The other side of the beach was horrible, a lot of people leaving their beer cans around and their garbage and listening to very loud music, it was very disturbing to walk around that part :
This is a child-friendly beach with safety guardrails, lifeguards, some lifejackets and water facilities, changing rooms, and a mobile toilet converted from carriages on the beach, all of which are free of charge. I took my 2-year-old daughter from the Verdun neighborhood and found that there were many children playing and swimming in the water on the beach. My daughter likes this beach very much and has played in the water for a long time. She used to be afraid of water, but this time she enjoyed it very much.
