In Rivière-des-Prairies, there are several public parks that are close to the river. One of the bigger and better ones is Parc du Cheval-Blanc. It's a great place to relax, especially if you live in the neighborhood.

Superb, very intimate park with access to water! These days there is the Guinguette de Rivière-des-Prairies so there are entertainment, dancing and a bunch of other activities!
The water’s edge is beautiful. bring water shoes and watch out for slippery rocks
