I have been going to this restaurant since I moved to Ottawa in 1998. I've gone out of my way to experience Chinese food all over our country and around the world 20+ countries. Chinese food is prepared differently every where. Overall I have not had better "Chinese" food any where else in my 55 years. Their food is not cooked from frozen packages, has no msg and is quite flavourful. I would gladly pay twice what they charge for their lunch buffet. If you eat there in the evening you will be surprised at the quality of food you get when you sit down and eat in the restaurant. I go outof my way to take new friends there to sample this food. NOBODY has ever told me they didn't enjoy their meal. Outstanding. In case you are wondering, no I am not a relative of the owners. Sigh.

Decent Chinese takeout. Bland for Szechuan. The noodle dishes are good, as well as the soups. The meat dishes are what you would expect from most Chinese restaurants that cater to western pallets.

So nice to be able to have lunch locally, in a quiet environment. No screaming kids there. When I was there for lunch on a weekday, they have this very nice buffet and everything was tasty and fresh. The owner was proud to tell me that they have been in business for 60 years. I'll go back there again, I like their Chinese food and adult setting. Very relaxing.
