Such a beautiful park all year round. Good spot for picnic too in the summer. Overlooking the ocean and English Bay is very calming. Chilling on the beach is relaxing. Bring your family and dogs here, you won’t regret it!
Beautiful park all year round, you can see the skyline view at day/night and it’s relatively quiet and intimate. Many people bring their picnic blanket here to just chill and enjoy the view!
Great park to go to for a relatively short hike, with great views and gravel trails. Additionally, there's many attractions nearby like the Vancouver Maritime Museum, Museum of Vancouver, Gordon Southam Observatory, etc.
The last couple of days have been very special indeed ! With our recent deep freeze some very industrious people have taken it upon them selves to shovel the snow and crest 7 or 8 mini rinks where they are playing hockey and just skating !
Great park in the summer, just watch for bird poop! Views of downtown Vancouver and Barge Chilling Beach. The large art piece in the middle is I believe in homage to an explorer from back in the day! Great walking trail along the water here.
I love this place twelve months of the year. Great place for a picnic, sit by the pond or simply admire the view
Great park to watch the sunset, get a view of Vancouver's downtown skyline, or to stroll along until you reach Kits beach.
Ah. 15 bucks to see a pretty tired museum. It seems like half of it was closed, but the cost was the same. Parking was an absolute rip off.
Vanier Park is located in the area of Kits Point and today we parked in a 2 hour spot on 5th avenue and walked down Cypress St. and then down Chestnut St. Into the Park..there are multiple opportunities to view English Bay from the main path that leads from Vancouver Maritime Museum To Granville Island..there are many benches located along this pathway..the open fields invite a relaxing atmosphere looking toward downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park in the distance..there are kits flown in this park.. one of our favourite things to do is purchasing tickets to Bard On The Beach Performances, unfortunately not this year due to Covid ...
Very nice park close by the museum of Vancouver
