Wonderful company, great building managers. Rented from them for just under two years now, anything that needs repairs is done timely and most importantly properly. Already recommended of my friends move into their buildings as my experience has been so great.
Thank you Vancouver Management Ltd for the quickness and kindness in helping to relocate and compensate the tenants at your Whiting Way building. Mr Davis was so caring with all of us in the building, and extremely expedient in getting all of our individual needs met. Tyler just seems like he just cares in general, great choice for a Manager! The receptionist is a sweet heart and very prompt. The caretakers were a joy to talk with and looked after any issue we had almost immediately. Sincerely want to applaud you folks. Stay gold
Worse management company I ever run into. Very unresponsive, very bureaucratic! Stay away if you can. Your strata probably run the same without these people.
I was being stalked by another tenant. He was evicted after arbitration and later convicted of criminal harrassment. I am thankful that Vancouver Management addressed the problem quickly and were mindful of my safety. The manager of my building deserves a lot of credit for the professional way he handled the situation. He is a conscientious, hard working manager who genuinely cares about us tenants. Thank you Vancouver Management and many thanks, John Ward.
Very unresponsive. It could take several months of reminders to even have a phone call returned. Our building decided to go with a new management company after years of frustration and I am glad that they did.
We have neighbor below us who feels its OK to fall asleep with her TV on and leave it playing through the night, as we're in an older wooden building with wood floors and no insulation we can her this clearly in our apartment. She also feels its OK to smoke, drink and chat with friends and watch her laptop on her balcony which is a few feet from our bedroom window, this is fine during normal hours but not at 12am/1am in the morning. I tried talking to our neighbor on several occasions with no change, I then made the mistake of providing her and VML with a letter at the same time. Simply asking that she abides by by-law and our buildings contractual terms and keeps the noise down after 10pm. She then fabricated a story about me harassing her and complained in turn. Despite providing VML with recordings on these disturbances they are still yet to address the issue, and keep falling back on 'both parties have complained so there's nothing we can do', completely ducking their legal obligations to look into this issue. Our building manager even turned round and said I'd have to put up with the noise as there's nothing they can do. We pay a premium to live in the Vancouver area and this situation is beyond frustrating, I'm on the point of taking this to TRAC/RTB for dispute resolution.
Oakridge Gardens apartments in a lush neighborhood-has a mice infestation. Pest control visits regularly but the mice are in the apartments. The elevators don't work at times and people have been stuck on the elevator until the Fire Department is called. Vancouver Management leaders won't spend the money to upgrade the elevators. The emergency phone in the elevator isn't working either. Lack of safety provisions for the tenants living in the building. Good luck to you if you choose to live here.
