Food was great, bit on the expensive sidestory of Vancouver but I got my money's worth with the portion size. John was very friendly and helpful, made great small talk and genuinely showed interest in the customers. Didn't need to ask more than once for me to leave a google review after I already said yes, but I appreciate the great service and great food all the same

Looking for HALAL on commercial drive? This is your place!! An amazing meal at a great price. Service and owner is very friendly and kind. Portions of food is filling. He closed at 10 and let me and a friend stick around to finish our meal.

Ordered takeout full regular and half flavoured. Chicken had decent crunch but was quite dry. "Flavoured" chicken was just regular chicken with a side of sauce instead of the actual chicken being marinated or herbed and spiced prior to frying. In other words, don't order the flavoured if you don't want to pay $2.50 to $3 extra for a little container of off the supermarket shelf sauce. Some other chicken joints will provide you with hand fulls of complimentary hot sauce, etc. Anyhow, back to the actual chicken which again was decent, not oily and natural. One last thing, after gone from picking up the order, later noticed was overcharged vs. prices on the menu and not sure of extra $1.50 charge maybe for paper bag?. If they are upping prices as many places are in these inflationary times then don't hand out outdated menus AND/OR let the customer know of the changes. Owner does not accept constructive criticism well and will respond with impertinence.

After what seems like a year of renos, this chicken place is finally open. Previously a donair shop, a family seems to have taken over selling fried chicken. They have seats but currently only accept takeout. You can order at the door through a speaker, or online. The father/husband seem to be in charge of the entire shop while the wife is feeding a little child and keeping them entertained. You can watch TV while you wait for your order. We got a full flavored chickencheese and half crispy. We got a side of fries with gravy. A side and a drink comes with your order too so we for mac & cheese. My GF pointed out that they also fry mars bars, which is kind of hidden away on their menu. Their entire menu is just boarded to the wall outside. The chicken is so good! Its like korean fried chicken, and a good value too. The chicken is bone in and just hacked up in big chunks so expect to nibble some bonei prefer this because i think its fun to do. The cheese powder is kind of sweet, and theres dried herbs mixed in. Crispy chicken is good too but id probably just get flavored next time. Fries seems to be those battered fries you get from costco. If you have had those then you know what to expect. Gravy is a little lumpy. Mac & cheese is just KD, it's a little under-seasoned. The chicken i think is the highlight and everything is made to order. I would've liked some home-made mac & cheese imo and options to pay for extra sides. For the value i think it's incredible! So nice to have it so close-by us and we will definitely take advantage whenever we can.

I have tried their fried chicken last month. And coming here again and again for their flavored whole chicken. Its the best Halal fried chicken in vancouver and that also with a very good price.

I tried their fried chicken burger 2 weeks ago and i had burger this week too. They are so good. Fresh and crispy. I love their burger haha.

Super great fried chicken joint with lots of flavour for a cheap price! We go here all the time. I recommend calling ahead because the wait time is usually 20-25 minutes! The owner is super friendly and passionate about his work. The fries are underrated - so fluffy yet crunchy. Best part is that the sandwiches are under $10!

This was one of the best fried chickens we have eaten. Very juicy on the inside and super crispy on the outside, and the lemon pepper flavor was delicious. The owner Mohammed was very courteous, from taking the order to serving it. Knowing that it was our first time, he went out of the way to ensure we got the best quality food and service. Visited second time today. Amazing taste and excellent customer service . One of the best halal fried chicken option in Vancouver. Will definitely visit again . Worth visiting . And their chicken is chemical free .

Just notice they have reopened. Serving fried chicken, fried chicken sandwiches, fish and chips and poutine. I tried a crispy fried half chicken with a side of Mac & Cheese and both were excellent. They cut the chicken into about 9 pieces so it makes it easy to share.
