Van's Pastry is a family owned Dutch Bakery that has been a staple in the Grand Rapids area since the early 1920's.

You will be delighted when you come in and see the great atmosphere and friendly service.

It is one of the few places you can get a coffee and a donut for 1.00.

I've been going to Vans pastry shop since I was a little girl and I'm 33 now so they have been around for a really long time. They have so many great things to choose from, trust me if you go here you will not be disappointed. I love this place!! I totally recommend it.

I went at about 9am so I got very fast service. The people were very friendly and fast. I enjoyed both of the donuts and chocolate milk that I got. I would rather them buy some better brand chocolate milk though, as the one they have is a school cafeteria type milk.

Van's has been an institution in Grand Rapids for decades. Walking into Van's is like walking into the past...in a good way. They feature solid, consistent donuts and pastries with a few traditional Dutch treats that you rarely see anymore. A limited lunch menu is available and is designed for a person or two to grab something quick. It is definitely not the place to bring five friends for lunch, unless you're all eating donuts.

The nest place in GR for baked goods. Worth the trip just to see their awesome collection of cookie jars. As for the "racist cookie jar" get over it!!! It is a piece of historical art. It should remind you of what used to be and is NOT anymore. LEARN From IT! Don't just Slam it! Especially from such a great old G.R Business.

Like walking back in time to a 1950s bakery. Except for the cash register, it doesn't look like they've changed a thing. Great, sugary donuts.
