Vamos Outdoors

I always enjoy stores such as this one. Your average mountain coop type place where you can purchase items for the outdoors, for hiking camping etc. Products here are usually pricey but definitely good quality. Like everywhere else in Almonte the staff is great! Friendly and helpful.

I like this store, has lots of very good quality clothing, for both men and women. Yes it's a little expensive, even the clearance items are not cheap but you can alway find something you like. Staff is nice, friendly and helpful. There is no accessibility for wheelchairs or walkers. Parking spots are not always available.

Great products and quality - they carry the best name brands for casual and outdoor wear. We enjoy shopping here and have purchased many items over the years in preparation for hiking trips to Utah and the Smokey Mountains.

I recommend Vamos to anyone looking for quality casual and outdoor wear. It's a cozy and welcoming environment with staff who are very focused on making one feel welcome. I've been shopping for most of my clothing there for close to 10 years. I shop for Kuhl, Patagonia and Blundstone but if you're looking for excellent Canadian winter gear, Vamos carries Quartz Co parkas made in Quebec. There are frequent sales and there's a discount rack too. And the women's wear selection is excellent. Other pluses? It's next door to a crepe restaurant and the Heritage mall that has excellent shops.

What a wonderful store! The staff were friendly, understanding, and very helpful. I purchased a pair of shorts there which the saleslady found for me and which have rapidly become my favourite running shorts. I really can't thank them enough for introducing me to the brand! I highly recommend the store.
