General Fine Craft is a retail gallery carrying the work of highly skilled, innovative Canadian craftspeople/artists. Since opening in 2013, it has become an inspiring destination for people searching for unique decorative arts and functional craft.
The bright, open space beautifully showcases contemporary ceramics, blown glass, jewellery, woodwork, glass mosaics, pewter, textiles, paintings and limited edition prints. We also curate six annual exhibitions showcasing new work by gallery artists.
Located in historic Almonte, Ontario (a short drive west of Ottawa), The General is followed by art enthusiasts of all kinds. Our broad selection and mandate for promoting outstanding regional art is seen by many as a breath of fresh air!
