Acanthus has been my go to floral shop for over a year now and regularly pop in to pick up arrangements for the house or as gifts. You just give them a price point and if any, preferred colours/flowers and they’ll work their magic. If you love plants, this shop also has an incredible variety. Always a happy customer when I come and highly recommend a stop in if you’re in Almonte!
Acanthus provides a welcoming atmosphere and is a place to get something a bit out of the ordinary and always tasteful. The prices are great, too. I highly recommend this florist to anyone who wants a positive, relaxing experience. I recently treated myself to a fall bouquet. Laura put together a stunning arrangement of super fresh flowers that will last a very long time. She has a keen eye for colour and detail.
I am just getting home from my uncles funeral. The floral arrangement done for my Mother in laws brother was just amazing! My Mother in law was so pleased! Thank you very much for making this hard day a little brighter with those beautiful flowers. I would recommend you from the moment we entered your store. The attention to detail was exactly what we Had envisioned.
GREAT experience ordering flowers for a funeral through Jamie. Rates were unbeatable but more importantly, his attention to detail, size, freshness, and end result exceeded all of our expectations. I can't believe I've never left a review for Acanthus. In all the years I've been a customer, I am consistently impressed with the quality of their plants and cut flowers. Laura is my go-to for bouquets. She is so creative and can make any request happen from classic to whimsical to offbeat.
I came to Acanthus for my wedding bouquets and was blown away with the service, experience and value I received. I trusted Laura based on the floral arrangements she created for my mother in law's wedding just the previous year. I gave Laura the creative green light as all I really wanted were bouquets in the style of Meghan Markle's wedding bouquet. Laura absolutely delivered and I was thrilled with the results.
