It's a decent place to find the occasional item but a lot of their prices are just shy of retail unless it is damaged in some way. The staff is polite and helpful, the store is kept clean. Like most places they have eliminated some staff and incorporated self checkout. Overall I give them 3.5 stars.
Excellent location. It is just off the highway which makes for a great stop on your way in to Vancouver or if you are heading out of town. The selection of items is just okay. The two best Value Villages for selection is the store in Kamloops and Kelowna.
Bring back change rooms! I won’t buy clothes there anymore because they took them away AND most of the mirrors, I get taking them out for the pandemic but it’s time to bring them back or at LEAST give us mirrors. Also, if you’re disabled, good luck getting into the second set of doors, they don’t open automatically and they’re heavy…is that even legal?
Crazy high prices I was very disappointed! Items that come from dollar tree or other dollar stores that were well used cost more than new price. All shirts even beat up ones were almost 9 bucks and all the shoes well they should be in the garbage truly! The store is very clean thats for sure and the staff was friendly.
Staff are none existing at this shop. Dirty floors but everything was very well organized. The parking lot is not the best lit. It was very dark and I couldn’t tell if it was even open. No sign even there to tell.
It's obvious Stevie Wonder is in charge of pricing here. Also, customer service here is very lacking and have experienced and observed this on many occasions. I also think it's gross the way they search their employees and even announce it over the intercom, everytime before they leave.
I have never had a good experience at this value village. The workers are rude when you enter. Especially now during covid. And the prices are incredibly overpriced for items they are getting for free. Heres a couple examples. Boots that are dirty and not in the best shape they want 25$ for them? And this is normal for this store. This must be a rich person's thrift store. And all the money they are making doesn't go to their employees I can tell you that much. And only a minute fraction goes to their charity. Not impressed by this store.
I was very dissapointed there was no cashier to ring through my purchase it was self checkout only and I dont support self checkout that should be somebody's job. They did manage to have a person watching the 2 selfcheckouts. Do you trust us to ring ourselves through or not. That person should have been on cash.
Clean for the most part and good cx service. The store layout, imo is a little strange, and I'm assuming because of Covid, there are no change rooms. So that definitely sucked.
Was impressed with the cleanliness and how much was on working! Halloween and all and was expecting a gong show but limited people by count and didnt let it get overcrowded! Change Rooms were still closed but that didnt stop me....and my Cashier was really sweet and I rowed out with a boat load of clothes and boots and side table to boot!
