The price point for items has gone crazy. Items obviously from Shien and other cheap fast fashion websites where you can buy a shirt for 5$ are marked at 10$+. There is always a great selection given that this is the best place in town to drop off donations through their drive through drop off site. However, the items are often dirty, to a somewhat acceptable level for a thrift store but not at the price it’s marked at. You get coupons but they don’t really make much of a difference in the long run or for people who really need to avail of the services of a thrift store.
Value Village is a second-hand store offering a diverse range of products, including clothing, footwear, furniture, books, media, and household items. The inventory is frequently updated, ensuring a fresh selection for shoppers. As a for-profit business, the prices reflect the need to cover operational costs and employee wages.nnThe store is wheelchair accessible and features a spacious layout. Additionally, there is ample parking available.
Why would I buy something I can't even try on? Especially those of us who are from away. I would have bought a half a dozen items today if I could try them on first but I'm not going to waste my money if I can't try it on. I would seriously re consider opening fitting rooms again. I use to work at a thrift store so I know that theft often happens in dressing rooms but what's the point if you can't try on clothes? Some of us can't just assume things will fit
Big store to find 2nd hand gently used items. Clothing, appliances, games, toys, pretty much anything you're looking for at very affordable prices. Parking is challenging at times when there is a crowd inside shopping.
Great selection of clothing, books, home items, etc. A little pricey but over all it's such an amazing store.
