Plenty of parking shopping was fun theres carts or baskets. They have good selection of books games and movies. Not much for Mens selections of clothing large to extra large. Electronics was good no test bar have to drag items to front to test. You have to go a lot as items are pretty picked through daily its a busy location. Prices were reasonable

I'm not a fan of the value village business model in general as I feel like they make it seem like they are doing good for the community and use their small contributions to the diabetes foundation to make themselves seem like a good company to give your donations to, but it's just a corporation that your giving free supplies to. The other big issue, they definitely over price, it's actually pretty crazy what they charge on a lot of items. If you want to donate items that will actually benefit the community, there are many other options but the Salvation Army is a good place to start. The prices there are always way more reasonable, and they do tonnes for ours and many other communities all over. With that rant said, I have nothing against the Barrie location when it comes to staff friendliness and being helpful. They also have a big item selection that is reasonable quality for the most part. I would say if you're thrift shopping, come here as a last resort if you don't find what you're looking for elsewhere. It's still better to recycle and reuse!

This isn't the best value village but the town makes the product for stores like this and donations aren't the best quality. It has wonderful service and the staff try and help you with whatever you need even if it's a very strange request. I wish they had a way to regulate the people who come in to buy things and re sell them but that's a Canada wide problem with any second hand store.

A used clothing and housewares store. Great for looking for that special item and deals. Good place for costumes and clothes that have been tested gently.

I always find great stuff in this particular value village. Last year it was the parka that I took to my Europe trip. Now, I am furnishing a new house and found a great signed print from a well known Canadian artist for $5.99 and a great pair of curtains fot $16.00.
