I have visited this LCBO location three times and had previously wonderful experiences. I always carried my small dog in my arms, and on past visits, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They even reassured me that because my dog is tiny, clean, and well-behaved, it was okay to let him walk around briefly. They were warm, kind, and even told me I could bring him again next time. This positive attitude made me feel very comfortable, and I appreciated the inclusive environment.nnHowever, my experience today was unfortunately very disappointing. A short-haired female staff member approached me as soon as I entered and immediately began raising her voice, telling me that my dog was not allowed. She mentioned the sign on the glass and as if she is saying , “It’s obvious, there are signs, can’t you see?” while looking at me in a very rude and condescending manner— questioning my vision or intelligence. She repeated the same sentence quickly and loudly several times, without giving me any chance to respond or explain myself.nnAs someone whose first language isn’t English, I found this overwhelming and upsetting. I always try to respect store rules and would have appreciated a calm and polite reminder. I understand if pets are not allowed, but the tone and attitude she used were unnecessarily aggressive and humiliating. It made me feel very unwelcome, especially after such warm treatment before.nnThe other staff I met on previous visits were truly lovely, and I was looking forward to shopping here regularly. But this experience left me feeling hurt and disrespected. I hope this feedback helps the store reflect on how customer service should be consistent and considerate—especially in a multicultural city where many customers may not be native English speakers.

Friendly and informative staff that seems to remembers familiar faces. I mentioned that the store didn’t have any kosher wines due to the American boycott and the store staff went out of their way to order a available kosher wine into the store.

Friendly staff and good selection. Easy access location, not in a mall and walkable from downtown.
