1.Overpriced. 2. You now have to check out your own merchandise without bags..yet prices have jumped. Not declined even less staff are now working. 3. No change-rooms. 4. They have lied to the general public about their donations to the Canadian Diabetes society . 5. They treat their staff like trash. Just ask them. Disgusting
I absolutely hate the fact that they removed their dressing rooms...myself and many others won't buy clothes there anymore. And their prices are way too high for second hand clothes. Totally disappointed. I go to good will now.
Prices for home decorations were like any home store prices so that was disappointing. Found a T-shirt and a Christmas blouse for myself weirdly enough since I really don't like shopping there for clothes. My daughter also found her husband a few reflective work shirts by luck in his size.
Location & parking is good, but prices are higher than New at Walmart, Costco and Pitt West and more. "Value" is for they Value you shopping there, not the high price on Old used Clothing. Bought 2 pack of Puma T shirts on sale at Costco $13.99. V/Village price was close to the Same, but it's used, old and you only get One
Pricier than Goodwill or Mission Thrift, but with more books and home decor. The furniture is super cheap, I just looked up a solid wood side table, in good condition for under $7. I will refinish and modernize it, and at this price it's so worth it.
Overall the store is clean and decently layed out. However they have no change rooms since covid and alot of the stuff is over priced.
Items are available in really good conditions and at a much reasonable price. Although it's totally an individual trait, the cashier didn't seem that helpful as I had some queries for which I received an unsatisfactory answer in a rush from her.
Manager was incredibly rude. What an awful experience made me feel like I was a thief because they didn't have products in the right location. Do not recommend this location, will not return.
Value village on walker had no personal cashiers at all. If we wanted to leave with items we were forced to use self checkout. I resent this.
Used to love going at this location, but from the few times I stopped by last week, all I can say is; -prices are too for something that was donated -employees are rude -the managers are ignorant
