I tried so many Middle Eastern restaurants beforeand I graduated from culinary major, so I know how should the kabobs tastes like. Actually when I was still learning for the ESL courseI ate their food on one occasionit was an event,my classmates pay for the event platters. At that time I didn’t remember the name of this restaurant but I deeply remember the taste of their food! They have the best quality and portion size! The owner is also very nice I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends who love to eat kabobs!
All dishes were yummy that I loved them. My hubby and I went there for the first time by friend's recommendation and we liked the food. Also, theybwere quite big portion that we were crazily full after we finished all. Staffs were all nice and friendly that I wish I could speak some of their languages ; *all meats were covered under the pita ^^
I'd say Val's is pretty underrated given their mouth watering chicken bbq and their homemade garlic sauce. Loved the dine in presentation. We ordered the half chicken dinner and it was filling for a couple and definitely worth the price.
Honestly life changing. Some of the best hummus and chicken wings I have ever had. We dined in, and the people are so warm and welcoming. This is such a great restaurant and I highly recommend. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!
Delicious food stacked high and very friendly staff! We got the half Vals mix platter which came on a bed of rice, a half chicken dinner with fries, and a quarter chicken dinner with fries. The chicken and tandoori chicken were out of this world. Sooo good, happy we'll have plenty of leftovers. We'll be repeat customers! :
Val’s bbq is my favourite place to get food from. I always order takeout and always get the half chicken dinner plate which is a lot it may look expensive but the plate is enough for both my mom and I to share. And there is usually left over still! The food isn’t the only thing amazing though. The workers are always sweet and welcoming. They genuinely work hard and deserve the best!!
Second time here and so satisfied and impressed. Delicious food, presented beautifully, and made with love and pride that you can taste. Like many places of quality a bit of patience may be necessary as that are short staffed but working hard. That being said we didn’t wait at all to eat in. Have done dinner for 2 twice with the variety skewers once and the meat lovers the second time. Will go for the whole rotisserie chicken next time. All cooked on charcoal. So good.
This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Placed an order at 4:10 pm to pick up for 5:30. Received a phone call from the restaurant at 4:30 to ask if I can pick up at 5:45, I agreed. I went in to pick up food and I had to wait 2 hours .... 2 hours!!!! For the food to be ready. He ignored me the whole time I sat there waiting patiently. I had guests waiting for 2 hours at my house for this birthday dinner. This is the 3rd time this has happened to us. This will be the last time we will be ordering from them. I do not recommend. Food is good but ot the service!..i spend $100.00
Their chicken wings have awesome flavors! And their Chicken dinner is priced well as it feeds a whole family of four..Food: 5/5
Very delicious food or you can even say the best middle eastern food in city. The grilled chicken is very especial & yummy and the wings are mouthwatering also the garlic sauce is very tasty. Only issue is the waiting time for your order. Still the food worth the waiting time if you can bear with it ‍ Staff are very friendly and doing their hardest
