Usingers

When I travel to Milwaukee I love to stop by a childhood favorite place. Usingers still looks the same. Operation have changed a little bit. Suggestions shop all of the cases in lobby first with a basket. Then take a number to ask for additional items and to pay. Customer service personnel are friendly and very knowledgeable. Items even 2nds are fresh and delicious. Don't pass up an opportunity to stop here while in Milwaukee. I have traveled several times by plane TSA request item in original packaging and frozen if in carry on.

We can't begin to describe how amazing this place is. There's enough staff to accommodate a large crowd, it's very clean, and there's a very large array of meat choices. We had a hard time choosing because we were afraid it would be super expensive. That's the best part! It is so cheap! We wish we had brought a cooler to fill up our car to take back more. Next time we're in town, we will definitely stock up. The staff were very knowledgeable too and helped us out immensely with what to pick based on our preferences.

We got ALOT for $45. Great sausages and wonderful employees! It was neat learning about the history of the building. Open since 1880 and many more years to go. Thanks for all the great sausages I hope to see you guys again!

I was recently on the east side of Milwaukee and decided to visit my favorite places. Usinger’s is a family favorite. I have great memories of my Grandmother and our gift boxes we received each Christmas. The bacon I purchased was delicious when I made my red cabbage recipes from Karl Ratzsch’s. Memories of time gone bye.

A great destination in Milwaukee. Charming older part of town and close to Fiserv Forum. Great prices on quality meats and cheeses. Bring a cooler!

I like stopping here when I visit Milwaukee. If it's warm outside, bring a cooler. Prices are really low here.

I've received a Usinger's Summer Sausage every year for a gift at Christmas for several years now. This year, I got it and it was completely covered in mold. Absolutely DISGUSTING!! I reached out to customer service through both email and their online form and never even received a response. Very disappointed!

The cheap box of sausage & crackers I ordered for $35 Dec 22' was recieved with a "complimentary" knife that was clearly used as you could tell by the discoloration of the spotted handle.. I didn't include it in the box because it was a gift was for my neighbor. I sent Usinger an email Dec. 27th. my complaint.. No feed back at all.. A couple days later I recieved a postcard..Did the order arrive on time? On the back of the card I wrote them the same complaint, so I know they read my earlier email & ignored the whole issue.. I expected some type of a compensation.. To this day no word ever. Not too smart to risk losing your business especially in this day & age !!!

Loved the smell of the fresh sausage when you walked in the store. A good selection in a well organized store. Friendly staff!

This is the ultimate meat shop. The best part is they have a whole section of “seconds” which are deeply discounted because they are slightly imperfect, usually they have been cut to the wrong thickness. My dad loves anything that comes out of this shop, and even as a vegetarian I am willing to stop in to make the purchase.
