Located in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota the Urban Lodge Brewery & Restaurant is a neighborhood gathering place - AKA, the coolest garage in town.

A community hangout, the brewery offers a full menu and features 12 small-batch craft brewed ales and lagers on tap. We also offer a variety of liquor and wine. Our 15 barrel system includes three fermenters and two serving tanks.

The brewery is also available for a variety of events, from weddings and birthday parties to business meetings. Send us a message or call us to learn more!

A pleasant, comfortable place. Of course, they always have plenty of beer on tap. A lot of regular, everyday brews but also some seasonals and once in awhile, a special, limited edition. I've found their beer to be good to above average. Nothing terrible but nothing that raised my eyebrows. The food is good and unique. Plates are the perfect amount for me but big eaters may find the portions lacking. Service has always been excellent. Friendly and attentive folks there. Once in awhile they have live music which is a nice plus.

We had a couple of flights and the bacon mac and cheese pizza, on the hand-tossed crust. The beer is okay, they all seem to have the same slight bitterness to me. But ... the mac and cheese pizza with bacon, is to die for. I don't usually like anything but thin crust pizza, because the pizza is simply a convenience to get the food to my pie hole. (see what I did there) But this hand tossed was very light, a little chewy, but not tough. Well cooked and delicious. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes bacon, or cheese, or pizza.

Have not yet ate in the restaurant. Only order pizza as we loved Flying Pig Pizza. It's a bummer they only go up to 14" instead of 16" now as it forces us to order 2 pizzas instead of one which gets pricey fast. The Mac and Cheese pizza is a favorite of ours and we add hamburger to it. We probably wont eat here anymore once Roy sells the business. We wish him well with his health concerns.

The beer is brewed onsite and is average. Food was decent. The building itself is amazing and has a very modern feel to it. I hear the rooftop patio is great, but since I visited in the winter, it was closed.

This is a nice place with some potential however poor service. Just poor service. Food and drink were good although it was highlighted by long poor service. Not again.
