Urban Dish Grill & Wine Bar

My partner and I had an incredible meal here. We sat on the patio and it was gorgeous. Our waitress Merv was very personable and friendly and she made our night. She recommended the best dishes for us. This restaurant did not disappoint. They had a garden beside the patio and the staff collected fresh herbs from it while we were dining, that's how fresh the food was. I would attend here again for a meal.

My wife and I had a amazing supper last night. Our waitress Jess was amazing too. We had been here before covid and it was amazing then too but it seemed even better this time. We will definitely be back. Thanks to the whole team there ans keep up the good work.

We had another amazing dining experience with my family and friends. Our waitress Erica was fabulous, very attentive, helpful and always willing to assist us with any questions we may have. Of course the food and drinks were delicious and tasty. Keep up the excellent work.

Have been wanting to check out this place for sometime and finally did on Saturday! Came in with my parents and boyfriend for dinner. We were warmly greeted and seated in a nice patio area. Our server was friendly and attentive. There were so many options for gluten free peeps as well as many dairy free and vegan options. I opted for calamari app and Caesar salad - both were delicious and full of flavour. My mom ordered the tomato burrata salad and scallop app. She thoroughly enjoyed both! My dad and boyfriend both went for the seafood pasta and thought it was excellent. Overall, a great dining experience with freshly prepared meals you can tell are crafter to perfection. We will definitely be back!

We went for a birthday dinner and were very impressed with the service and the food. The dishes on the menu were unique, full of flavours and beautifully plated. Would definitely recommend for any special occasion.Food: 5/5

My experience at the Urban Dish was fantastic from my pre dinner drink to the amazing mouth watering dessert. In between, the staff made my visit very personal as they genuinely spoke with pride to the dishes they presented. I had the tuna dish see photo which just melted in my mouth. My journey through the evening was highlighted by Andy who remembered my selection of scotch from a month ago. Erika's bright, sparkly personality just shone as she told her entertaining stories, without missing the fine details of making the perfect cocktail. With the proud, caring staff and an amazing taste extravaganza, Urban Dish is my favourite dining place. I wish them all the success.

What an amazing dining experience! I found this place searching for healthy restaurants in barrie to eat at for a date night. Our server was phenomenal, she had great suggestions for altering the meal a bit to suit one picky eater and one with allergies. The food the kitchen prepared was beyond perfect. Everything was perfectly timed. The bathroom and dining area were very clean and the volume level of background music was perfect

Hands down the best presentation for a $25 dish the steak sandwich with a complimentary side of soup I have ever seen. Taste and look so good that I needa order another bowl of soup before I calling an end to such a wonderful meal. Catherine ,the server, was also so friendly and she elevated the whole dining experience to another level! Beyond Impressed!

I don't even know where to start! I guess I'll start at the beginning! As we walked into the charming, quaint, and very clean restaurant, a very friendly and professional young lad guided us to a wonderful table, took our coats, and wished us a pleasant evening. He was very sweet! Then our server Laura greeted us! She was very personable, funny, friendly, all the while professional! We absolutely loved her! We each had the Butternut Squash Salad see photo which was out of this world! Then we both had the special which was the halibut. It was on a bed of fingerling potatoes, green beans, red cabbage, and topped with sprouts and these cute and tasty little "pearls"! The dish was phenomenal! Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of this dish! Then we had dessert see photo! We shared a Caramelized Chocolate Tart and a Dulce de Lèche Cheesecake. They were both to die for! The wine Ironstone Cabernet and even the tea Vanilla Peppermint with honey! was delicious! Laura even heated our mugs for the tea! I have to say that this is one of the best restaurants I've been to! Even on the way out, the lovely bartender bid us farewell and wished us a nice weekend! Such a friendly place with delectable food and perfect ambiance! The chef is a gastronomical artist! I seriously cannot wait to return!

I was very surprised with the food! We enjoyed our meal and it is a place where creativity prevails. They have their own way of making the food and their sauces and everything was good and most importantly fresh. They also have good appetizers and I order a margarita which was excellent and you can see it in the pictures, the dry pineapple was edible and taste really good. We order fried calamari and was different but delicious, my husband order a grilled cesar salad and was excellent, he also ordered fettuccine bolognese and was different but good. I ordered beef tenderloin and it was delicious you can also see the pictures. In general was good! We definitely will come back. In Barrie is not easy to find good quality restaurants. This is a good one. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of what they have, good service.
