Urban Crave

We went to Urban Crave since no other decent restaurant before the security check/gate was open on a stat holiday. I didn't expect much due to the bad reviews, however the food was great they even have healthy options that even delicious and staff was super friendly. I took a star off because the char broil chicken on my salad didn't taste like char broil... but overall, I had a great experience and will go back.

Came here to eat as there are not many other restaurant options at the airport. Didn’t have high expectations beforehand and unfortunately my expectations did not increase. I ordered was a chicken salad. The chicken looked good but was insanely dry and cold, as if it was cooked and left sitting for awhile. The salad was over seasoned w Cesar sauce, just absolutely drenched. Honestly felt like the cooks used half a bottle for sauce for just my bowl. My friends ordered a variety of other foods with their chips and were extremely disappointed as the food was very underwhelming. Staff were friendly and quick when asked upon.

Overpriced and underwhelming. I ordered the grilled chicken avocado sandwich to go, and it was sad. There was no avocado, barely any sauce, one slice of tomato and one leaf of lettuce with the chicken. The chips which came with it were over cooked and not seasoned. I resent paying $18 for this sandwich. After adding on a tea and some grapes it was $30. Do not recommend.

The waitress keeps checking me out. She seems to be judging me up and down, left and right and circling around me. Then just 15min in with my food. Her waiter boyfriend came in from behind me and said "did you ask for the bill?" Already printing the receipt. Woah! Disrespectful. I wasn't done eating. I was also facing away from them and there was no way i could signal to call them for the bill. There are others who came before me and they weren't approached - they were facing the bar too. They must have thought that i look like i would just dine and dash. Or eat and run. Or chew and screw. Even after all this, I still gave them 18% tip... Or maybe... The guy waiter got friendzoned and didn't like that the girl waitress can't keep her eyes off of me?

Poutine was $12 potato chips with little gravy. So Difficult to eat had to ask for chopsticks. Was suggested I eat with my hands instead of a fork. Terrible...had green onions too. Stanley park beer excellent. Service mediocre. Sat for nearly 15 minutes before received service bit only because I flagged a server down. Yeesh.

Although they claim to serve authentic street food, the laksa is most assuredly not authentic. Nobody puts lemon wedges into any sort of curry. Laksa is also not served with cucumber, scallion, or cilantro. The egg should also just be normal hard-boiled egg, not ramen egg. And fried tofu as a substitute for taupok is also quite sad. The rice noodles were pho noodles and not laksa rice noodles.

Whomever has the lease on this place should give it up to anyone that is prepaired to run a business properly! Under trained & short of Staff, only three things available on the menu Barely any Bar drinks in stock, two days in a row,Why do they even bother getting out of bed ! This place and YVR make faulty towers look like the Ritz ! Dietary restrictions: Nothing worth a toss on the menu thats actually available

I gave it a 2 because the food was decent. The service was way below standard. After we got our food we waited an hour, no one came back to our table to see how it was, see if we needed anything else, or even ask if we needed the bill. At least 20 dollars in lost sales, just from 2 of us, because we wanted dessert on more drinks. If you're going to provide table service, then do so.

Very poor service. We had 3 drinks each, and every time we had to go to the bar to ask for service. The bill came and they had charged for doubles, despite us having singles. Also very expensive. It was so much better when it was Koho.

Really bad customer service, Sat at bar area for long time, no greeting no nothing. Ask if they played certain channels on sports. The restaurant manager pointed me to somewhere else where I am sure they don't have the sports I want to watch. I walked all the way to Fairmount hotel. And guess what? They don't play baseball game. They should have known the restaurant around them better or at least say they don't know, before they provide solutions.
