Uptown Grill

Great venue, wonderful artists! Uptown needs to stay open for bar service after 11:00 on Saturday nights, especially following a concert. I'd be great if they did after concert drink specials to keep the good vibes flowing! There was a large group of us that couldn't get food service but we walked down the street to Rosati's for a quick bite and circled back to the Uptown for a nightcap within 20 minutes and they had closed. I can understand if it were a Tues or Wed night but Saturday?

Our food was delicious. The service was really good. Prices were a little high, but not too bad; of course this was at lunch time.. The place was recently remodeled; very, very nice inside. It's kind of on the fancy side. Seems like it would be nice place for night out, dinner date, etc; maybe not so much a place for families.

Nice local restaurant that has been in business for a number of years. The burgers are always delicious. We had the seared tuna nachos. Yummy! My only complaint was that there were not enough. The crab and cream cheese stuffed mushrooms were delicious at well. The only criticism is the lighting. I am all for mood lighting but this place borders on dark.

I stopped in here unexpectedly after a day of motorcycle riding. The place was very nice for such a small town and the food was interesting and delicious. I ordered their Poutine Burger but it was unavailable so I ordered the fish tacos. They were sensational. Three tacos came topped with a unique mix of fruit with a glaze and something spicy (a small red pepper maybe?). The fish was breaded and fried but it still had a great flavor and you could taste the fish (a nice, flaky white fish - it wasn’t all just breading). The combination of flavors was one of the most unique and interesting variations of fish tacos I have ever had. The menu on the iPad/tablet was one of the more well thought menu applications I’ve seen. Click on any menu item listed and a picture and brief description pop up. I was in a hurry to get back on the road and get home so I failed to take any pics. Sorry about that because this was a surprisingly upscale place with reasonable prices, great selections, with some unique menu options. There was a nice area for outdoor eating if you like that. And the bathrooms were immaculate with some high end, modern touches. Very cool, modern vibe overall. If you are in this area I don’t think you can go wrong here. They will have something for everybody, from burgers, to tacos, steaks, seafood, great appetizer selections, and more. I would highly recommend Uptown Grill.

Good tasty food. Well made mix drink (except no coke for rum & coke . only Pepsi. Never the same. ). Nice atmosphere. Be good place for a date. Not the best service not sure if that was just our server or not.
