Haze Smokehouse

Found Haze while driving across the country and we've now stopped in twice on different trips. The staff is very friendly and the food delicious! We've tried almost all the meats on the menu, and have enjoyed them all. The combo meat platters are a great way to sample a little of everything they have. Depending on the time of year/week you are stopping in, they also have live music and a great outside patio.

I went in with high expectations and let me say, my server Jake definitely met them. Friendly, gave great recommendations, and gave top-notch service. The new lemon cheesecake was *so* good. Because of the food and the service, I’ll definitely be back. This restaurant feels like home.

Regular stop when making business trips through central Illinois. Brisket some of the best I’ve had. Thick cut, great fat content, nice bark. Fried kale and baked beans are awesome.

Everything is amazing. All of the bbq sauces are delicious. The surf and turf Bloody Mary is where it's at and they are half price on Sunday! The sampler dinner is a good way to try a variety of the smoked meat and the portion is huge.

Went here back in Janurary and had such great food and a happy atmosphere that I had to bring my family back. We live a little over an hour away but Haze is worth the drive. Josh was my waiter both times I’ve gone and he makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. He made sure we had enough of whatever we needed. Great service and great food! I can’t wait to come back.
