My second time here, specifically for the double-baked almond croissant. The crunchy top is covered with almond flakes and icing sugar - overall not too sweet, just the way I like it. Inside is soft and flaky. Too bad they skimped on the almond paste. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars.
Covid procedures in place. One way in one way out. Well laid out great baked goods.
For a bakery they have some tasty salads. And of course the baking is pretty good too.
My husband and I love the blueberry cinnamon buns so much. We don’t live close by, so often pay for an EVO just so we can go pick them up. Everyone must try!
I love this beautiful bakery! One of the best kept secrets of Strathcona, Vancouver! Always kind, always has an open washroom, and the food and coffees are totally fresh. They start making the daily breads and foods at 4 AM every day!
Well stocked Bakery with lots of yummy baked treats and food. Sit outside under heat or take it home. I did both.
Quality stuff! I love their croissant with apple pie filling. They didn’t have it this morning so I got a breakfast egg and bacon Sammy. So goood, it’s tomato, bacon, egg breakfast sandwich with a cheese crusted top. Also picked up banana bread and a scone. I could’ve bought everything tbh. Definitely recommended :
