Friendly owner. Had a great chicken and eggplant sandwich with peppers. Authentic and yummy!

We got the veal with eggplant. It was so good. It took a while to get our order but when we got it, it was hot and fresh. Well worth the wait. Grab some napkins too, you'll need it. This is in the lower ground level of the market next to a pastry shop.

I love the Italian sandwiches. A bit pricey though even though I didn't order so many toppings. It was $11.02. Really? That's the same price for what I paid for replacing my broken guitar string!

Have the "Godfather" - chicken parmesan with eggplant on a crispy kaiser topped with optional garnishes such as cheese, fried onions, mushrooms, and hot peppers. Huge portion! Location: On the lower level of market at the foot of the stairs.

Still the best eggplant parmigiana sandwich in Toronto. Have it with veal or chicken or beef but why??. If you do go, please don't hold up the line, make it simple for everyone and just ask for everything!!
