A very nice experience with a very good breakfast sandwich. We got the “Peameal Bacon on a Bun” and it was simple but very tasteful. The bacon is high quality and full of flavor. I loved it and I would like to try all the other things too.

Heard the Peameal Bacon Sandwich was a food I had to try in Toronto and that Carousel Bakery had the best Peameal Bacon Sandwich.  I ordered the sandwich with Honey Mustard because that was the most popular.  It was cash only so be ready.  The sandwich was solid but I am not the biggest fan of the bacon.  Just a very simplistic sandwich, it was nice to try but I wouldn’t really go out and get it again.

The classic peameal on a bun is certainly a classic. Simplicity and the right Kaiser for the win on this one. Ordered with cheese, mustard and mayo. $9.50 tax incl. Cash only and even with a line up you can get your food in minutes......as long as you know what you are ordering. Various other offerings including breakfast sandwiches and veal parmigiana.

Had to try their world famous peameal bacon sandwich- the line is small during a weekday lunch. I really liked the honey mustard in it. Its around 8 CAD for one.

Peameal "Canadian" bacon sandwich is what they're "world famous" for, but it's more of a touristy thing. If you've never had one, you really should just to see what it's all about. It is yummy, and actually, they are uncommon in Canada. We got the peameal and the veal, and we both agreed the veal was better, although more expensive. You could get better veal sandwiches too. Hate that they only take cash. I would have thought COVID killed cash.

Peameal bacon with honey mustard bun was good..worth going for. Cash only. I also tried the custard tart - the pastry was ok, but the filling was a bit too sweet.

This bakery is well-known for their classic peameal bacon sandwich. I was expecting a long line, but there was none. The employees got my order out in under five minutes. The sandwich itself melted in my mouth. It might not be the best sandwich in the world, but it definitely exceeded my expectations.

Be prepared to get in a queue, it’s always a wait but it’s well worth it. I highly recommend adding honey mustard and mayo to a sandwich … maybe some hot sauce. The breakfast sandwich is also amazing. 10/10 would go here over paddingtons - I’ve never been more disappointed when my husband came home with a sandwich from the wrong place. This is a childhood classic with all my memories of coming here with my parents.

If it's good enough for Anthony Bourdain it's good enough for me! The peameal bacon roll is what they're known for and it's simple, unpretentious and delicious! Get it with some Kozlik's maple mustard sauce and you won't be disappointed

A must stop at the St Lawrence Market! Pea meal bacon sandwich and butter tarts were sooooo delicious! Great snack or lunch! So much fun to walk around the market too!
