United Way of Portage County serves children, youth, adults, senior citizens, the disabled and disadvantaged members of our community. Because of United Way programs, children in our county have access to friendly, safe after-school programming. Because of United Way, citizens can obtain free or low-cost preventative and emergency medical care. Because of United Way, senior citizens have a place to gather – somewhere where they can converse with friends while maintaining confidence and self-esteem
