Very rude, horrible with costumer service. I called because I wasn’t getting mail for over 2 weeks, the lady said the address was marked as vacant. This makes no sense because there was never a point that mail piled up in the mail box or anything of that sort. No mail was coming for that to happen, none. At that point my voice got lightly stern because I was frustrated. The lady then said I was arguing with her and cussing at her. At which point I said, “no I am not cussing just speaking sternly and there is a difference”, then she hung up on me. I called back and they are saying there is nothing they can do to fix this. This makes absolutely no sense. My lawyer is aware of what’s going on and will be in contact with this specific Essex branch office very very soon.
My mailman is great. Of course, that may be due to the fact that Im a newly retired mailman and I KNOW what these people have to put up with on a daily basis. These people are Over worked. Yes...ive seen bad letter carriers strolling around ...ear buds in...talking on the phone. But those are new people....and until management changes at essex you will only have new people. My advice is put your mailbox at the bottom of your steps and outside your fence. Empty it every day. And quit complaining when your letters are "late ". Its not the carriers fault
I just watched a video of a veteran that was recording in this post office and the way the public employees treated this man was not only unprofessional it was criminal. They stopped serving all the customers then locked them inside then called the police and lied to them about how this veteran was acting. Not only do they need to be fired but they need to be criminally charged. They just opened up the United States post office for a slam dunk law suit.
Horrible experience today! Worst customer service reps EVER!!!! Just a nasty attitude with everyone that walks in...and don't even think about asking these incompetent $#@!&/*? any questions because it's as if you've committed a crime!!! Please send them immediately to customer service training!!! Two females working the front counter...one in a hurry to go to lunch and the other one was on break the whole 15 minutes I was there... doing absolutely nothing but talking about her personal life!! Worst experience EVER!!!
On Friday Jan 13, my daughter found 3 pieces of my mail lying on the floor under my mailbox. On Jan 10, this post office claims a package was delivered to my address. No package was found. I submitted an inquiry over this and received a phone call from a postal employee stating that the package had been delivered and that was all that could be done. Meanwhile I'm out the package and my money. This is unacceptable.
They keep marking my packages as delivered and not actually deliver them. I end up getting it the next day or the day after. It's illegal and they should be properly disciplined for it. Not just that but we keep getting mail from others on the same street.
I've watched the video of a vet videoing in the post office and I can hearby attest that the staff are ignorant, liars and bullies. Australia has watched this pitiful performance from public servants and the evidence is on the world wide Web for all to see.
Refuse to serve the public. Irrational fear mongers. Terrible customer service or lack of would be a better description. Not sure why Google still has not provided us with negative stars yet hope they fix that soon. Shameful employees ignorant supervisors.
Worst post office ever! Had customers waiting outside their lunch break hours and there was no apology for opening late whatsoever! Huge line due to their lateness and they didn't even care!
It's very disturbing when the post master doesn't even know what their poster #7 is, let alone knows what it says. We the people have every right to film in the public lobbies, floyers and doorways. Federal buildings = PUBLIC!!!!. Check out The Angry Vet on U tube and see how they treat citizens.
