Unique Nails Leaside Salon

I love coming here. I have been to many nail salons in the past and I am a huge fan of having my nails in perfect shape. I've had manicures, shellac, and acrylics in the past. A lot of other salons grind your nails down almost to the bone and cut you near your cuticles in an attempt to use their filing machine to do so. I have left bleeding and my fingers sore. I wanted to find a place that was CONSCIOUS of nail health given that I like to have my nails always done, just not damaged equally. I have to say that here, they offer BIO Sculpure gel (amazing quality, if you use acrylics, you will never go back after trying this!) and Shellac and manicures. All of these are the best in terms of nail health and the people here are aware of that. They steam their tools/UV light them to disinfect the tools, they care for your nails, and are gentle in their work. They are all very kind and skilled so I never really worry about who I am getting. Prices are very reasonable, and all their work lasts very long. I haven't moved salons after finding these guys! :) The BIO Sculpture Gel is the first I've gotten and they feel light and look amazing and natural!

Ya I'm surprised this place has good reviews. Went there last week and was disappointed. The disappointment started before I walked in as the outside of the place wasn't appealing at all. But I don't tend to judge from the outside so I remained positive until I sat down for my pedicure. The staff weren't friendly - except the young girl who did shellac on my hands and a man (who I believe could've been the owner) who came from the back door as he said hello and asked how I was doing. I don't think I saw any of the other staff even smile. During my pedicure, no one asked if the water was too hot or cold and there was some type of plastic object floating around in the tub and no one bothered to take it out. Besides that, they did a good job on my pedicure. They also did a good job on the shape/cut of my nails as I only got a shellac change. However, the shellac chipped only after three days. Basically, the prices are good but you get what you pay for. I won't be returning back.

Unique Nails was a last minute decision, and it is a decision I do not regret. The Ladies were fantastic and down to earth with great costumer service. Not to mention they have a remarkable collection of polishes, Gel & Regular (they mentioned that they try and to get every new polish collection that comes out). This Gel Full set is the best I've gotten EVER! they look unbelievably Natural and I've already received tons of complements! Ladies or Gents you must try this place out!

First time going here with a friend and we were completely blown away! We both got a full set of bio gel nails each and the girl did an amazing job, our nails look so natural and beautiful. The customer service was great and the people are very down to earth. Definately our new go to place.
