Flavorful Jamaican food with extremely friendly service. I had curry goat, rice & peas, mac & cheese and cabbage. Everything was fresh, tasty and good. Unique serves different specials through out the week. Can't wait to come back for my favorite Jamaican dish that they serve on Saturdays: Akkee & Callalo!
This is my second time coming to Unique Cafe and each has been amazing. The first time I went I was served by the the owner whom was the absolute kindest gem and the food was loaded with flavor. The second time I went, there were a couple of teenagers working there as well and they were so professional, respectful and polite. I ordered the oxtail plate with rice and peas which came with two sides so I got the Rasta pasta and sweet plantains. For $13 I've been to other places that give more food for that price but the flavor and quality have not been this good. I visited Jamaica years ago and the food at Unique Cafe taste the closest to what I had while on the island. Home cooked and made with love. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.
I’ve eaten catered meals by Unique Cafe maybe two or three times. Each time was amazing! The vegetarian chickpea curry with rice, the plantains, the jerk chicken, etc. All great! Vegetarian options: The chickpea curry is delicious
Highly recommend this place, I loved it. My friends and I ordered juices, the goat curry, and the stewed fish, and every single thing was perfect pictured here is the goat curry. The service was wonderful, and they give enough per order for extra meals. Next time I'm in the area, I hope to grab what I didn't get last time! If you get takeaway, it's recommended you call 1/2 hr in advance.
Stopped for lunch with a friend yesterday based on great word of month! Wow what a great place! Super cute diner location, friendly and efficient service and the best jerk chicken I've ever had! Will definitely be back!
The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was very homey and comfortable. The food was delicious also. We had both breakfast and dinner. We will be back. Parking: Plenty of on-site parking Wheelchair accessibility: They have a lift that gets you into the building
Delicious food, we had two types of chicken with Mac n’ cheese and 2 types of rice along with a bacon egg cheese breakfast sandwich on a real bulky with delicious potato’s !

First time coming there and Navine is super nice and greeted us with kindness. Enjoyed our jerk chicken meal and the spice hits the right spot
Unique Cafe is truly Unique in a special way! I love the fresh juices to the delicious food....not forgeting incredible service u get once u get there. I love these ladies!!!!! You must stop by this incredible hot spot today!!!! Update..... the consistency of the food!! It's the consistency of the taste of the amazing food for me!! That oxtail hits the spot all the time!! Woke up craving the oxtail and once I got a hold of it, the taste did not disappoint!!!! Thank you guys for a wonderful experience!
