Go Trains service is very good and available in regular frequency. Presto card works smoothly with Go Train, TTC train and bus.nnWhenever we are in Toronto, we do ride this train.
The views are beautiful here! Really appreciate that there are comfortable seats and free wifi that I could use. Travelled there from Brampton Innovation.
This is a tribute and thank you to the ´Lost and Found Luggage’ personnel in particular AND to the ´ground staff ´ at both Pearson and Union Station!nnMy husband and I arrived back at Pearson last Sunday after a wonderful holiday in Norway. At the baggage pick up we accepted the help of a porter to take our luggage to get the train to Union Station! My husband pushed me in my wheelchair while the porter took our luggage - and us - to the train.nnWe were anxious to make a train connection to Kingston so rushed things a little and managed to board our train - but without the luggage! People on the train reassured us that all would be well!!! While we wondered what to do. We decided to return to Pearson !!!nnOn our return to Pearson - we were met there by ‘an angel’ in the disguise of name who had advised us in the first place to wait for the next train rather than rush it because of the wheelchair. She then had observed how the train doors closed on the porter! And our luggage - with us inside!nnSeeing us again she reassured us that all was well: this amazing lovely angel lady had our luggage already sent on to Union Street Station - the porter knew of our destination - and then alerted her boss at the Lost and Found Luggage office of our arrival.nShe waited with us for the next train and took us to an assigned car for wheelchairs and luggage and staff I think.nAt Union Station there HE stood, her boss, a bit like a miracle, at the exact car door we arrived in at Union Station.nShe clearly had told her boss where we would be and there he was with our luggage! In our state of anxiety it was a bit like a miracle!nThen this miracle man handsome, too ensured that we knew where to go and that there was help to push my wheelchair!nnWhen finally in the train a few tears escaped - I was exhausted - but at the same time wanting to sing praises to all the people who had helped us and to thank them for their kindness.nAND THEIR EFFICIENCY! In the end it was that, their efficiency, that saved our day!nAnd their kindness simply confirmed what they generally say about Canadians!!! Canadians of All COLOURS!!! Friendly, helpful and kind! I now add ´efficient’!nA THOUSAND THANK YOUS to you All at Pearson and Union Street Station!nI have forgotten the name of the first angel but I remember the name of a friend of hers who sat in the return trainnto Union Station with us!!! Her name was WENDY! Please Wendy tell your colleague that we shall never forget your kindness and amazing efficiency!!
The food hall is a pretty cool spot and I think this is cool way to get tourists from Pearson to see downtown using UP express. However, the Bay exit could use some cleaning up and the City should invest in more social services because the last two years it’s been an interesting lesson to teach my kids about housing and drug problems with up close and personal encounters whenever you visit the city through Union.
Upscale shopping. A lot of well known brands and shopsnBig food court on the lower level, more than 50 choices.
