Unifor Local 2002

Poor experience both at the local level and destrict level. I tried contacting my local representative for weeks with no call backs or returned emails. Weeks turned into months, and into a year. I received zero communication from unifor, and as a result of changes to the collective agreement that directly impacted my position I was experiencing undue stress. I did not receive any communication, or direction on dispute escalation, I was told to quit, get training and re apply for the same position, if it was available.

I have had a positive experience within my union and this office in particular.
