Uncle Bob's Country Buffet

Most buffets are usually so so and way over priced for the quality of the food. I set my expectations low going in. How wrong I was. I usually head straight for the salad bar and it was really good and fresh. Lots of veggies. A really nice sweet potato soup. The roast beef was just right not too salty. I had hot apple crisp with ice cream. GREAT. And I don't give those out very often and never for a buffet.

I read some other reviews, and I wasn't sure I actually wanted to eat here. But I noticed that most of the bad reviews were for slow nights, like Mondays & Tuesdays, so we decided to try on a Friday. We enjoyed our food, there was a good selection, and the flavour was pretty good. Our 6 year old grandson found stuff he liked & that's a bonus! The place was clean, bright & spacious. The alcoholic beverage selection wasn't impressive, but one usually goes to a buffet for the food selection anyways!

Used to love going here. Now they have changed it. They used to have kids eat free on Tuesday and Wednesday first responder day and so on, now they don't and instead offer dinner at the same price just without tax. Also their free meal on your birthday offer isn't so great if you read the fine print and see you need 3 paying ppl with you. Lastly they put up a sign saying "tipping isn't necessary" give me a break!! Those servers bust their buns to clear the tables, so unless you're paying them extra, you shouldn't discourage people from tipping just to distract from your lack of deals!

As I walked in I questioned if I would like this place. I had to get my own utensils and drinks and napkins. But..... I was actually surprised with the meal. I left wonderfully surprised. I really enjoyed the selection. It was an easy place for me to eat while being on a keto diet

This place is literally the worst place I have even eaten at. It shouldn't be "all you can eat" should be called "all your WILLING to eat". There is no section at all! All of the food is cold and dry. All of the soups and sauces have a very thick layer of skin on it. I have never made a review before but felt that I had too because this place is just that bad. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!
