Made in Mexico Barrie

Made in Mexico has a great atmosphere with very friendly staff. Authentic is an understatement! The food here is extremely tasty and the portion sizes are big enough to take home for another meal. Plenty of choices for sauces and salsa; freshly made in-house. Lots of drink flavours to choose from with lots of taste. Prices are very suitable. I always eat here when I'm in Barrie visiting family. It can get quite busy with the dinner hours so try to check ahead. The first time, we waited about 20 mins but enjoyed a Jarritos soda while we waited. The other times we were seated straight away but it did fill up quickly. Going a bit earlier than usual for dinner should prove to be helpful.

Went here because a friend recommended it. Can't say that I am coming back anytime soon. We liked the decor and ambiance of the place but the food, not so much. Maybe I just didn't order the right ones. We had empanadas to start with which are too greasy then we had fish tacos,adobo taco and enchiladas. Fish taco itself was tasty as the fish fillet was good. Aside from that,nothing special. I also ordered chicken quesadilla to go for my girls. One didn't like it very much. Sides were just okay too. It was a little overhyped.

A great place to have your awesome food. Best place to sit is the patio... Very good wall of quotes and information. You will not just eat your lunch or dinner, you will enjoy that. They even celebrates birthday in their own way. They will get together, play music and sing a song for the birthday wishes. Make sure to check this restaurant out and enjoy your nice few hours of the day. I am sure that a single visit of this restaurant will make your day happy and satisfied. I have been their for a number of times and I never gets tired of that. The quality of food is very good. They have some veggie options too. So, don't hesitate to go there if you are a vegetarian. I am a vegetarian and still I like it so much. One of my favorite dishes is 'chimichanga'. It is a deep fried burrito served with sauce and two sides. They have refried beans and rice for the sides. Cilantro lime rice is my favorite. Don't forget to try their cheese nachos... In short, the food and the restaurant are awesome. The servers are nice and their services too. It is kind of an open restaurant because one side of the restaurant is on the road side and that is open, so even if we are sitting in the restaurant, we can enjoy the fresh air.

Food is great. Went on a Thursday and the taco shells were chewy and bland but we went back again on a Wednesday and they were fantastic. Good prices and lots of selection.

Food is delicious. Portions are huge. Atmosphere is lively. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely will be returning.
