Umpqua Health New Clinic

Going in for the 1st time today in urgent care, not only were the staff at the front desk polite, but very helpful and kind. I didn't have an insurance card on me, but they were able to find my information with a few clicks on the computer, which was impressive. The doctor was professional and treated me great. Going to spread the word and recommend this place to those who need care. :

My children see Dr. Steven Jorgensen. I have been very pleased with the care he has provided both of them. He is kind, easy to talk to, he listens and responds to concerns with follow-up questions, he explains things well and my 12 year old son and even my 14 year old daughter are very comfortable with him. His staff is great. Responsive and friendly. I am grateful for them!

Second time visiting, check in smooth. But first time I visited was two days ago at 5:50 am. Online and door sign claimed UC hours till 7:00 pm. Staff behind the desk, but doors were locked. Called the office number, message stated office was closed but no reason or office hours given. No signage on the door explaining why closed early. Staff did not look at the door and just ignored my knock. I called the next day and was told that due to staffing issues the office was closing early this week. I suggest you notify the public as that visit left a sour taste in my mouth. I came back because I don't want to go to Evergreen even more so.

I have a 11 month old. I was trying find somewhere to take my son other then Urgent care cause I have had nothing but rude staff at that office. I get online to find a urgent care that’s open Umpqua health Newton creek happen to be the first one that popped up. It said the hours were 7 AM to 7 PM. So I get my son already and drive all the way into Roseburg from Winston. When I get close enough to see the building I noticed there’s not one car in the parking lot I pull in and I called the office and it says their hours are 7 AM to 7 PM on Sundays no reasoning behind why they are closed an hour and a half before the time they have online. I don’t know what it is about this town but I’ve had nothing but horrible experience with the medical field the only place I have been able to find that the staff actually care show that they care and go out other way to make sure you’re OK and your family is it’s taken care of is Aviva. If they had an urgent care that would be where I would’ve went instead of having to travel all the way here just to find out there closed just because they don’t want to do their job. So if you’re gonna close early maybe you should Notify people you might be closing early because I’m short staffing or whatever the reason is so people don’t drive all the way to your office just to find out your closed .

Wanted to like this place because Evergreen isn’t good either. The front desk isn’t so bad but I almost walked out of the exam room due to practitioner being rude and condescending. Unbelievable and embarrassing. They don’t really want to help or run tests, they treat everyone like they’re drug-seeking. They all but accused my symptoms fainting of being either anxiety/mental and criticism for not having “common sense to come in sooner.” This place is literally a joke like so many other places contracted with UHA/DCIPA essentially committing medicare fraud by taking the OHP tax dollars and not providing legitimate care, all while doing it with a hateful vibe.

I have always received excellent and professional care at this facility. I have not used the urgent care but the front desk people are friendly and polite and the medical staff and lab technicians are excellent.

Dr. Heart should not be an urgent care doctor. We sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes after they were closed for lunch just to be told the dr does not see babies under 3 months old. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.

Everything says urgent care open at 7am. Website, phone message, the sticker on the front door. Get there at almost 8. The lights are on, but the doors are locked! When you've been up all night with a kid that's been puking all night this isntwhat you want to see. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Today was a visit to practice nurse Manson. I have never met such rude, non-professional health workers, while I was waiting for an appoitment with Manson, I was twice in urgent care and twice in emergency. Everyone said that I should wait for the appoitment with Manson, she should help. She said she didn't owe me anything. She didn't even look at my shoulder, said that the leg problems were not her problem. She yelled at me, she was very rude, I have never experienced such humiliation. She looked disgusting, as if she had not washed her face, with dirty hair. I think that she disparaged me because my English is not very good. I feel discrimination from her.

They are very discriminative. They do NOT care about the patients. They do NOT keep any records to keep track of any information about you to know what medications you can or can't take, and are very rude, unprofessional and have no respect or care for your rights, freedoms or religious beliefs. They are not somewhere you should go if you want real medical care.
