The best burgers and chicken sandwiches in Ottawa. Service is also incredible, every staff member was incredibly pleasant and helpful. Curly fries and sweet potato fries were also amazing. Basic atmosphere and more of a fast food type of environment but a super nice outdoor patio. We had the chocolate and vanilla shakes and they are to die for!! Highly recommend!
A friend of mine introduced me to this establishment because of the tasty burgers that they make. It was indeed tasty. I selected the double burger with a couple of extra fixings along with an order of fries it was a bit pricey but where isn’t it these days? It was very busy so expect to wait a bit especially on a weekend. I definitely will return
All I have to say about this place is godly. Their burgers aren't your average restaurant / fast-food burger. $8.50 for the single burger isn't a price that will hurt your wallet too. The patty may look thin but it definitely makes its presence known. The fries are nice and salty and I would suggest getting with the burger to pair it with. Only thing I hope improves in the future is wait-time for the food after ordering it. I've been at umbrella burger a handful amount of times and each time it has been a 10-15+ minute wait which wasn't bad at the time because I wasn't in any rush but I can see some customers getting annoyed with this. Another thing I hope they add / do differently in the future is their chicken strips. Although I don't have any pictures of it, I have ordered them before and they are seasoned tenders based on the spice level you want. I would love them have them sauced instead of spiced
This is a nice clean small restaurant. It’s got a very up beat vibe which goes with the feel good comfort food. It is small inside, so if you are thinking of eating here when the outside patio isn’t open, it can be tough to find seats. That being said the food is delicious! If you like sweet and salty with a little spicy, it’s hard in my opinion to beat the chicken sandwich burger style, spice level classic southern. That was an A+ combo if you ask me! The chicken is cooked to perfection, juicy as can be. The curly fries are really nice as well and go great with the sauce. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy and delicious, and had a great hardy flavour. Which I assume comes from the Smokey cheddar. Overall I would put it at a great value for what you get, portion size and food quality is hard to beat. If the food makes me close my eyes and bop my head then I’m happy! Thank you Umbrella Burger for some great food!
Best burgers!nFound this place by a recommendation of a friend, and didn’t regret going here. The food is So good. I was surprised by the quality of products especially meat. I had double cheeseburger and meat tasted to good, fresh, no additional taste that sometimes can ruin the whole burger. Fresh and soft fries with a sauce made it 5/5!nAs well I’d like to add that waiting time is approximately 20 minutes which is also a huge plus.
