This is a great park for many reasons.  First the it's right along the Hudson River, second there are many outdoor grills and picnic tables, third take a walk and find the waterfalls and fourth in the past month I've had at least bald eagles fly right over my head.   There is also a boat launch, basketball courts in the upper parking lot and it is adjacent to the Turkey Point State Park.  All this 10 minutes from Kingston for free.

Beautiful on the Hudson river

Nice trails through the woods with a couple of small bridges and waterfalls. During the summer there's a lifeguard for kids, but there's a lot more waterfront to swim in than just the roped off area. No playground as of now. Interesting places to explore if you like to discover old homesteads.
