U-Haul Moving & Storage of Ajax

Great experience with a truck rental for a move. Not the most knowledgeable about hitches. Tried to sell my husband on one that was incorrect for our vehicle and insisted it was correct (it was not)

Hitch Installation issue..their rental service is probably surperb...never tried it..I don't know but I CANNOT believe how poor the customer service is at this U Haul location it blows my mind the more I think about it. Trying to get a hitch installed for almost a month now...first got a quote at a location then booked a date and time. Get a text a couple days before the appointment that it was changed to a later time that day without my knowledge...i'm going to be at work. Okay no problem..so we rescheduled and a day before appointment I was told to reschedule because installer wasn't going to be available that day. Okay fine..life happens..called back again to reschedule and then...guess what??? On the same day of appointment was advised the installer is not available. What a joke..can't honour a simple appointment 3 times in a row...I never post reviews here but I really want to warn anyone out there that want to get a hitch installed at this U Haul location, check elsewhere you will thank me later. If the U-Haul management sees this comment, please step your game up at that location..it's a joke right now to be honest.. I'm now looking at other companies like RackAttack, Hitch City, Safe Pull to do business, I know it can't be any worse than this U Haul location. Peace.

During my visit, I realized reserving to book for a U-Haul doesn't really matter. What matters is knowing U-Haul is a FIRST-COME-FIRST serve based business. Long story short, I traveled to 3 U-Haul businesses including this one & still didn't have the 10' truck I reserved for because the person in front of me took my truck that he didn't reserve (26' truck he reserve and they didn't have so they made him take mine before telling me) --- also, they will change anyone's order (time and day) to fit the needs of someone else. Note to self: Reserve a U-Haul the day before and ask for 24 hrs.

Staff are friendly and understanding but Uhaul itself has over charged me way to much for max 7 days of truck rental. Beware of your charges if you book trucks for long term. Incorrect charge alert!

Delivered exactly as promised. I feel the service is a little overpriced, but I got exactly what I expected
