We just completed two moves, one local and one out town, with Bedwell and came away very unhappy customers.
First off, the crews doing the work were perfectly fine. Our troubles arose when we had to deal with the office person. We understand that stuff breaks during moves but we had all sorts of issues with the billing and damage to our property that were not adequately addressed. We paid for watching the lead driver train one of the young guys on how to back the truck into our driveway. When refunds for overcharging were agreed upon we had to keep calling the office to ask for them to be deposited. A one time payment of $60 was judged to be an adequate reimbursement to cover destruction of a bookcase our son built or scratches to a century old blanket box that will cost several hundred dollars to refinish. Furthermore, a small move across town of a small amount of property was billed for the same amount as a much more extensive move to an out of town location.
There may of course be reasonable explanations to all of this but no-one from the office would actually talk to us. We've been left with the strong sense it may be office standard operating procedure to stall so that customers will just give up. I have to admit that Bedwell office staff provided some of the worst customer service we've experienced in a long time. And to be clear, it isn't just about money. It's about having been treated with a lack of courtesy and respect when it could have been very easy to do so much better.
I’d recommend staying clear of this outfit.

Last month I moved to my new condo, which was stressful because of having to book the elevator with property management and only being able to have it for 2 hours. I called Bedwell and told them I have a strict deadline, which they fully guaranteed they would be able to meet.
The morning of the move, 3 movers showed up and promptly got the van loaded up and moved to the new location. The unloading was very quick, and was actually finished in just an hour and a half. I'm thankful that Bedwell was efficient, careful with my things, and finished before expected. I recommend them for anyone that requires moving to a condo or home.

This was our first move and Bedwell Movers took care of our pack and also stored some items in their warehouse. The movers were great!

I required a mover on short notice and a friend recommended Bedwell. I was very satisfied with the service, the quote was fair and their were no hidden fees. The movers arrived on time and finished the job in the quoted amount of time. I would recommend this company for home moving, they are very helpful even with just a moments notice.
