U-Haul Moving & Storage at S Fraser Way

Charges for not entering access code. Cant authorize people to have access without going down there which goes against tgeir own policy. Understand and appreciate it but next to impossible when you live out of town and work late everyday. Customer service is good from what i hear. Friendly staff. Clean location.

U-Haul Abbotsford – my WORST business experience in Canada ever! I booked a covered storage space for my van two months in advance. I was leaving Canada for three months right after I drop off my van at their storage, so I wanted to make sure everything will be okay. To avoid any problems I called them one week before storing my vehicle and explained my situation to them. They assured me they have my booking and everything will be ready for me. When I arrive at the storage with my van they tell me they see my booking but unfortunately have no space for my van. They put me into very difficult situation and were not willing to help me in any way. They only recommended to go to one further storage, which had no covered space and I would miss my plane by going there. It also turned out the storage spot I was supposed to have originally wouldn't be covered either, in contrary to what I was told by them when I was making the booking. I suggested I leave my van outside until they free up some spot but they answered they will tow my vehicle away which would mean I would lose my vehicle with all my stuff inside, because towing company does not wait three months until I come back. This decision about not helping me at all and towing my vehicle away was confirmed by manager of this storage. The manager confirmed they are not willing to take any responsibility for the mistake which they made and which caused me lot of troubles and cost me lot of money. Never again Uhaul Abbotsford!

Made reservation for 6x12 trailer on August 10,2017. P/U August 17,2017 0800 hrs. in Mission BC. Got a call August 17,2017 at 1030 hrs from uhaul in Abbotsford BC, informing me that they had a 5x8 trailer and I could p/u after 1pm 1) why was this order confirmed from Uhaul reservation desk and emailed confirmation of my order. 2) get a last minute call from Abbotsford uhaul regarding changes to trailer and pickup time. This has caused me to have to make a second trip of 900km to finish my move, from Mission to Oliver, BC. My time is money, not to mention extreme stress cause by Uhaul.
