First, lovely people, kind, attentive, and funny. And it gets fairly busy at night, with Greek music playing on the TV I have been here 3 times so far, and ever time loved the food. It’s not a fancy restaurant, come here if you’re hungry and ready to see the kitchen in action. Their wraps are really good.
Literally my favourite gyro place in all of toronto. The owner is the sweetest and so friendly. The environment is super homie and comforting. The meat is so juicy and they are generous when it comes to portions. Not too much sauce, not too much toppings - just a perfect portion of everything in a gyro. It’s so flavourful. Even if the food wasn’t good which is impossible I’d still give a 5 for their amazing customer service. 100000% recommend!
My order was through DoorDash. My family was very hungry so when the food arrived, we were all ready to dig in. We were not able to eat some of the items because, a I received a burnt burger with copious amounts of ketchup on it to mask the burnt meat. This was for my kid. We threw it out. b Also I received a warm! Greek salad with wilted and soggy lettuce. Why was it warm? Because the salad was placed in the same bag with the hot fries. It is a well-known fact that how you package the food will affect it on the transfer to the house. Hot food & cold food should be kept separately. Condensation build up made the lettuce soggy. How can you serve this kind of food to customers? Does the person at the grill have his eyes closed? When the ketchup was squirted onto the burger did the cook not see the burned meat? This quality of food is deemed inedible and therefore not fit for consumption. Consider yourself warned.
Worth trying. Great product and worth the money. The portion size of the kebab wrap is great, and they're really generous with the tatziki sauce. The fries are a huge disappointment and should be changed. They're soggy and not crispy at all. The toppings are all fresh and the whole wrap tasted good. Kebab is a little spicy. Otherwise, a safe choice. Delivery via ubereats.
Just ordered at souvlaki sandwich with french fries. Went to eat it and the chicken inside is RAW and the french fries are extremely soggy and many are uncooked. Terrible and VERY unsafe. Chef wouldn't even look at it when I brought it back. Just threw it away. Better quality control is needed immediately.
A big YES! Tasty food, large portions and good prices! Their tzatziki sauce is amazing too. Not much else to add:
This is my first time here and the service was absolutely fantastic and food is so yummy. The thing I didn't like is the microwaved the potatoes and rice and way over priced....Food: 3/5
I drive 30 minutes to come here. Worth the drive! The employees are very warm and take time to explain every dish to me. The food is prepared very fast, fresh and is very rich in flavour. The chicken gyros, souvlaki and fries are my go to! If you are extra hungry go ahead and indulge in their wide range of desserts!
I thought saginaki meant fried cheese but Saganaki means "items fried in a small pan", so i was disapointed when i ordered the shrimp saginaki & got 5 extreemly salty Tiger shrimp in an extreemly salty tomatoe sauce. For an $18.50 appitizer i was hoping for a better dish. Salad: under ripe tomatoes & overall bland tasting dressing. Lettuce was fresh, crispy romain but the olives tasted like they came from costco and I dont think they used real olive oil or lemon. Not sure what the problem was there exactly, It just wasn't impressive. Up side....the chicken & pork sticks were big and juicy & the lettuce in the salad was fresh. Overall: I would not order the shrimp saginaki again & I also hope they fix their salad dressing & get riper tomatoes.
I absolutely LOVE Greek food and I've found a new spot to put on my repeat list! I tried Tzatiki thanks to an UberEats deal for BOGO free. I ordered the FRIED CALAMARI DINNER which comes with a restaurant appetizer-size amount of deep fried calamari, Greek salad, and your choice of two sides. As you know, for these BOGO deals, UberEats makes you input/order two of the exact same things. However, I asked on the instructions if they could pair one with potatoes and rice, and the other with potatoes and pita, and they were kind enough to do so. I personally recommend the potatoes for being soft and flavorful as well as the pita so chewy! rather than the rice tasty, but not as good as Jimmy the Greek, heh. I also really enjoyed their Greek salad as it was filled to the brim with onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese... You name it! Though this combo was on the pricier side, it is well worth it for the portions, which are huge and likely enough to feed two! Everything was packaged well, so it travelled well also.
