I stopped at Two Brews with my family late on Sunday morning expecting to miss the normal busy time and sure enough half the tables were empty. Lucky us. We each ordered a burrito or crepe and waited. And waited. And waited. And watched as the table next to us that had ordered right before us got their food, ate, and left.
Finally our buzzer went off and we got half our meals. After a few minutes of waiting I asked about the rest and was met with puzzled faces. I explained that we were missing 3 of out 6 dishes and recited what they were. 5 minutes later I was given 3 identical burritos, one of which didn't have steak in it, the other of which would have been correct except that there was no meat at all in it, and the 3rd was supposed to be a crepe. The cook then argued with me over whether there were beans in the ranchero burrito as the board above the register clearly said there were. Finally I got my burrito just as everyone else at my table was finishing eating and after 2 bites realized it had mayo in it.... eggs, steak, cold cheddar cheese, and mayo. Lots of mayo.
Its a shame because Two Brews is in a beautiful building - nice layout, atmosphere, well furnished, etc., and if run by and staffed with professionals it could have a lot of potential. As is though, its a time consuming and expensive disappointment. Wait out the line at Papa Pete's instead.

This was a real mixed bag. Clearly several staffers had called out and we had to wait at least 30 minutes to get our food. This is from a place that is set up to serve food quickly. After making some frantic phone calls for backup an employee arrived and stood outside and smoked a cigarette before actually coming in and helping. Once the food hit the table everyone stop complaining, it was that good.

It's got great food, however, not consistent in hours and takes forever to get your food

Awful service today. We ordered food and an iced latte. The food came out 15 minutes later, but no iced latte, so my husband went over to the counter to ask about it. He was told it wasn't forgotten, but that there was only one person working. I almost felt bad for the one person working, until we were done eating. 30 minutes after we ordered, and the iced latte still wasn't ready. I went over to the counter to ask about a refund for that and for the $3 extra he had charged me for eggs on my make your own panini. He said he was currently frothing the milk... I said, "for an iced coffee?" I don't know of any coffee place that froths the milk for iced coffee. And then I tried to talk to him about the $3 charge. He was unwilling to hear my point. He just kept saying it comes up that way in the system. I have a picture of the menu board where the ranchero panini with eggs is $6, or you can order the same thing as a "make your own" for $8, but he charged me $11.... For something that should have been $6. He was rude to my husband and I, and not even apologetic at all for the iced coffee taking 1/2 an hour. The food was fine, not visually appealing at all.

This place has more character than most of the little food spots in the South Shire. The menu is simple and to the point, but they customize on request.
