Small and quiet. Low cost. Rustic camping; only a fire-pit + grill + Pit toilet. North Country Trail is accessible near camp. Lake is accessible with a boat launch.

A brief drive-in on the Gravel Road leads to the small twinwood Lake Campground with only a handful of sites that are first come first serve. 6 or 8 I think?
I stayed in April just as the trees were coming alive again.
Picnic table and Lantern post are provided. I would give this a one-star rating advising people not to go, so it's a better chance for myself to get a campsite, but I wouldn't do that. Enjoy :)

Great campsite next to serene lake with boat launch. Adequate parking for drive-in camping, but also connected to the North Country Trail via a short spur trail.
There's not a lot of sites (maybe 8 or so) but several of them are within eyeshot of the lake. All are well wooded and hammock friendly, plenty of space for multiple tents, picnic table, fire ring, and a double pack hanging post. Definitely not cookie-cutter layout.
Reservations are first-come-first-served and $10 per site. Far enough from civilization that I didn't notice any road noise.

Nice rustic campground on a beautiful lake with a boat launch for small fishing boats. Have camped here all times of the year and will continue to go back peaceful and scenic.
