AMAZING RESTAURANT. I would 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone visiting by this area. Good food for the price, super nice and welcoming staff, The food is absolutely amazing, especially their chicken salad and fried steak. Plus most of their souvenirs are decently priced

Very poor service. We walked in, and there was no one there to greet us or offer seating. After 10 minutes, I walked through the restaurant looking for someone. I found a waitress and asked if we could be seated. The restaurant was empty, and it looked like a few employees were in the kitchen socializing. After being seated, we waited another 15 minutes before waitress came by and asked us if we would like any drinks. At that point, we already knew what we wanted to eat, but she insisted on coming back because it was too much for her to remember. It was another 10 minutes before we were able to give her our food orders. While ordering, the waitress had to repeat herself multiple times, forgot what we were asking for, and had to go back to the kitchen to retrieve things we had asked for because she kept forgetting, and generally appeared to have difficulty keeping up with the basics of the job. Overall, not a great experience. We probably won’t be back. Denny’s tends to be more responsive. It’s unfortunate because the food is very good.

I love Black Bear! We came in for a quick breakfast before a Costco trip, and everything was great!...from the service, the food, the price, and the atmosphere! Our server was very sweet and helped my girlfriend make up her mind by offering different options for breakfast. If I had one complaint, it would be that I literally always miss the entrance and have to make a u turn to come back...when you see the sign coming from blue lakes Blvd, you better be in the for right lane and ready to turn in!nnLooking forward to our next visit!

We have been here many times and every time it’s been great. Today was horrible. Granted they were busy but people were waiting to be greeted and seated. No greeting and folks waiting to be seated. Plenty of empty tables from where I was standing waiting for somebody to even to say hi. People waiting to be checked out not getting checked out. Two of the weight staff had to go out and smoke while people were still waiting to be served. Table is not cleaned. Very disappointed. My wife and I just decided to leave go somewhere else. Don’t complain about Business being poor or that your income is not high enough when you don’t wait on your customers.

My sister and I were traveling together. The server was great, as was the food! When I went to pay, I was told our meals were already paid for. I will admit we sat and cried at the kindness. Don't know who did this, but it made an already good dinner even better!
