Twice the Deal Pizza

Excellent pizza and even better service. The owner has been an institution in the neighborhood and many of the kids from the nearby schools can attest to his kindness. That being said I didn't have the opportunity to try this pizza till recently and it is definitely top three in Durham.

This place is very decent. We got the Pizza and Wings Combo and it was worth the price. It did not disappoint. The owner was very nice too. Will surely be back.

This pizza, hands down, is one of the BEST pizzas I have ever had! The dough and sauce are delicious. The service is 5 star! The owner is pleasant and efficient and you will not beat the price! I will return in the future for sure! Thank you for an amazing pizza experience! Far better than most of the big brand names! Keep up with your amazing product and service!

Mediocre pizza, used to be really good and great bang for your buck! Years ago I used to order from this place around 3 times per week with my friends and since then the quality has gone downhil. These days I wouldn't really recommend it.

EDIT: I’ve changed my review from 5 to 1 star. The place used to be amazing but obviously times have changed as it’s been a while since I’ve ordered from here and I couldn’t be more disappointed with my order. I ordered the two pizzas and 20 wings combo. The pizza is soggy and gross and has a weird flavour and the wings were dry and burnt with the sauce in a container on the side. I really hate to see such a great place turn out food of this poor quality. This is honestly one of the best pizza shops in Whitby if not all of Durham. Used to eat here back in high school and I’m so glad to hear here’s still around.

We ordered last week and enjoyed the pizza. It's standard 'small chain' pizza. I call it birthday party pizza, it's a good value and tastes perfectly fine, you're not getting premium toppings or an artisanal dough. If you want to feed a hungry family on a budget, this is what you're after.

Been going to this place since it opened years ago. There are definitely better pizza places in Whitby, but few are better value. The pizza and wing combo is a great deal. The pizza is always fresh, the wings are OK oven made but again, not the best. It’s usually made quickly. Would recommend it as a decent local place to get a pizza quickly and cheaply.

By far the best place to get pizza in Whitby. We always pick up so no comment on delivery. The owner, Patel, is a wonderful, courteous man and we never wait more than 10 minutes, even for a walk-in. We almost don't want to tell anyone about it, but we want to support this smaller business. Twice the Deal is definitely worth a try - we don't go anywhere else. Amazing deals on single XL pizzas and the Godzilla special can't be beat. J&S

Putrid and over sweetened sauce. No flavour in the ingredients. They taste like they were frozen. Also the delivery person was very rude. She told me I needed to let the store know in advance if I had to pay with a $50. I didn't know this "policy". Especially since it's nowhere on their site. This was when she arrived.... On that note, she was wearing no identification or anything that would indicate she worked for this joint. The manager pretty much shrugged it off. I'm never going to buy from this place again. Not worth the 4 or 5 bucks less. Good god.

Ordered from here for the first time, after passing by for quite some time. What a dissapointment. They didn't have wings so I opted for the boneless wings. They were nothing more than store bough frozen chicken nuggets. There was no sauce on them, but in a container on the side. Now for the pizza. It was soggy, undercooked, The crust tasted raw. All my wife an I could eat was 1 slice each. Never before have I thrown out a take-out order, this was a first. Now I'm patiently waiting for my Skip order from St. Louis.
