Mountain Mercantile is one of my favourite gift shops in Canmore. They have a variety of local and handmade items and lots of mountain inspired products. I have purchased stickers, a keychain, soap, earrings and mountain wood decor pieces from here. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a unique gift to bring home from the mountains.
Just got my secret Santa gifts there. They have a lot of cool candles, socks and earrings. Staff is super nice. Had to return one item and there was no problem at all. The only thing I don't like about this place are prices ...
I would definitely call and check the hours before heading to this shop. Google says they are open until 9pm, but due to covid they may have reduced Hours. We showed up at 8 and the doors were locked and the staff were sweeping and closing the till. This may be due to covid. It would be helpful for owners to change the times open if reduced hours is the case during the pandemic, as 9pm isn’t correct from what I’ve experienced. For this reason, I have given a 1 star rating. If we are able to head there during open hours and have a better experience, I will change my rating.
Loved the products had stuff both my wife and I loved. The clerk was very hospitable and gave us many ideas on what we could explore in the town
I loved is shop. The clerk that was working on Friday was so friendly. I loved the sweater and tanktop I bought! Such a cute little place :
What a lovely little store! Stumbled upon it while recently in Canmore, and I loved it so much I went back the next day. Loved that most of the products were from local vendors and artists, and loved the selection of BlueQ socks which I can't seem to find anywhere except online! Bought myself the cutest little ring shaped like the mountains, and the girl working on both nights I was there was such a delight my only regret is not getting her name so I can properly thank her in this review. Great customer service, and so nice and friendly. Will definitely pop by again next time Im back in Canmore.
Super cool little store. The lady who happened to be working when we were there was super friendly and personable. Not from the area but will definitely stop back in!
I thought this place was great... I only bought a couple of the socks, but it was a difficult selection since they were all pretty cute. Definitely check it out.
If I could give more stars I would! Lovely store, and even lovlier staff! Super friendly and helpful!
