Excellent service, amazing food! We started off with one of our favourite appetizers, chicken rolls, and we decided to try a new one, the fried calamari. The calamari was cooked well and seasoned to perfection! For our mains, we got the wings, which I highly recommend, and the New York chicken dinner. Both were absolutely amazing as always! You can’t go wrong with any of the Turtle Jacks locations, but TJ’s Winona is hands down our #1 favourite!!
Great restaurant with a wonderful summer patio. Chicken finger meal comes with the most chicken I’ve ever seen! Drink were tasty. On the pricier side for a chain restaurant but nice place to have dinner.
Instead of slaving for hours over Thanksgiving dinner, we came to TJ’s. We ate everything but turkey. It was tasty.
I only managed to grab a photo of my dessert because I had to drive right in to my meal!! This was my first time back at a Turtle Jack’s in over 2 years, and my first time at this specific location. I honestly think this location is the best one I’ve been too. Other Turtle Jack’s seem to be poorly-lit but this one was very comfortable to sit and enjoy a meal. The food is great, everything on the menu sounded so good - it was tough to make a choice! Price and quality are very reasonable for a date night/family outing. Staff are very friendly too. I’ll be back!
The food was lovely but very expensive. Just 2 people - one had lobster and steak but the other just had an appetizer and ginger ale. The bill was $149! Appetizers have been re-branded as "shareable" but there doesn't seem to have been much of a size change in the nearly $18 spinach dip for one. Can't comment on the others. But food, staff, and restaurant are all great.
My first time at a turtle jack’s. Had their New York chicken dinner which was great! The staff was friendly and helpful
Great experience! tried to make a large order online but it wasn't working so I called in... a few times. even had to add to my order after it was ordered. The bartender was super accommodating and very nice. Food was picked up on time and everything was perfect. highly recommend.
Went into Turtle Jacks for dinner with my family, and was greeted at the door. Got seated, and didn’t have a waitress come up to us for at least 15 minutes. When waitress arrived, she was not friendly whatsoever and didn’t seem like she wanted to serve us. Waited over 45 minutes for our food to arrive and the server didn’t even apologize or acknowledge the fact that our food was late coming out. The people came after us got their food within 15 minutes. We asked her questions, she ignored us. When the food did arrive, she didn’t even come up to us to ask how our food was. Worst dining experience I’ve ever had, and worst customer service I’ve ever had. We will not be going back to this establishment. Word of advice, hire people who actually enjoy their job and want to be there. The tip we gave her reflected the service given.
First time at this location, and won't be my last. I had the wings love that NY butter flavour and the salmon, which I would get again.
Located at the popular stop fifty plaza, this place is very close to our workplace; so, we treat it like our second meeting room; LOL or at least we used to treat it this way before COVID-19 and lockdown. They have both a patio and indoor dining area. They also offer takeout. I have almost tried all their menu and enjoyed my meal. It is a combination of great spices and cooked at the right amount of time. Their staff are friendly and professional and during the COVID-19 pandemic, their sanitizing plan is well-executed.
