I have been with Kia for over 5 years having now bought two vehicles from them. Their customer service is excellent and their President Fern goes above and beyond. I was caught in a unique situation and was treated with the upmost respect. Their sales and financial manager Andre has always been attentive and patient when dealing with him. Overall I would recommend Turpin to anyone who is looking for a well established and knowledgeable Kia dealership this one is your go to!
Bought our new Kia Soul in Carleton Place at the Turpin Kia dealership last week! Mike and Andre expedited and created a great experience for us. Will definitely be back some day and recommending it to our friends. Thanks for making a usually difficult experience, a pleasure!
We brought our 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara into Turpin KIA this morning for repair as they are the only licensed Suzuki dealer between Montreal and Toronto. A big thank you to Victor and his amazing team who were able to fix our Suzuki while we waited. We also got to meet Mike who showed us some used KIA vehicles that they are selling and really made a great impression. You won't go wrong in dealing with Turpin KIA in Carleton Place.
I've been to several Kia dealerships in Ottawa for various reasons. Turpin far exceeded all of them. Mike was a terrific sales person with good knowledge of the vehicle with a no BS attitude. Andre made the financing part of the purchase a breeze. All in all I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a Kia. I picked up my vehicle and it was in great condition, no scratches and very clean! I got the 2021 Kia Soul GT and it is a dream come true!
Andrea was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. It is not an ideal time to be in the market for a new vehicle, but she made it enjoyable to look at cars. She was clear, honest, and kind.
After many weeks of looking we finally stumbled across a low mileage reasonably priced, but older, Kia Soul at Turpin Kia. This was a fresh trade so it took another week before we could pick it up while Turpin's techs completed the required maintenance and ensured it was roadworthy. We had a little delivery hiccup with a part that was delayed supply chain! but only picked up a couple of days late. There was supposed to be a set of winter tires on rims with the vehicle which I wanted to store at home...these couldn't be found, but Turpin offered to deliver them to our home in Ottawa once they located them in storage, so all good. A few days after we got it home, the derecho hit and coincidentally the cabin blower failed...so no AC, defogging, heat, etc. I wasn't too happy, but it was an older car. Emailed Turpin and the owner emailed back and offered to make things right. Took a little time for the parts to come in supply chain!! but they got us back on the road - no charge! I was expecting to pay for parts at least, but this was a pleasant surprise, especially after having to replace the AC compressor and condenser on our other vehicle the day before. Point is, no one should expect a car purchase to go perfect, but no other dealer I've bought from went out of their way to help sort out and fix things like Turpin did. Thank you!
Be Cautious - This dealer practices predatory pricing. With the current pandemic they are gouging people on used cars in particular asking upwards of $14,000 over the cost of a new car. This shows the credibility of a dealer and their shady business practices
Charging over MSRP for a carnival $16,000 says so much about the business. Don’t get taken advantage of and find another dealership, there’s only 3 other kia dealerships in the general area.
I don’t recommend, we went in looking to buy a seltos in yellow to be told by Mike that we can forget about ever seeing it. He refused to even try to find any other solutions. We went in to buy a car and were treated terribly.
Absolutely amazing service from Mike and Andre! My mother was in search of a new car, I called, made an appointment and they were fast and efficient and NO bs! Mike went above and beyond what he needed to do to ensure my mom had everything she needed. Her new to her 2016 Forte was in impeccable shape. I'm happy knowing she's now driving a safe vehicle that will last her years to come and she's happy with the price and service! I'll be recommending them to everyone I know who's searching for a new car. Again, Mike did WAY more then any sales person would do and he was HONEST and not money hungry like you find in the city. 100/10 service.
