Great location and lovely staff. Saw a coat on the website I’ve been waiting for and popped in to snag it. Judy & Becka were very kind and helpful, finding the coat hidden downstairs. A Christmas miracle! Love this spot
Incredible shop! The people who work here are super helpful, lovely, friendly and funny. I always have a great experience when I shop here. Turnabout is easily the best place to find quality consignment goods in BC maybe even the best in Canada- the prices are great, quality is always amazing, and they have a fab website which is updated all the time. I can't recommend this store and all of the other locations enough. if you are a bargain hunter who loves high fashion- this is your place. Love it!
Really nice place to find original furniture and decorations. Prices are not exactly cheap but also not expensive considering the quality and condition of the itens. This store might seem small looking from the outside but they have a basement with the same size of the main floor. You also might be interested on Turnabout Clothes which is just 50 meters up in the street.
Literally -5 stars.. The two old ladies working unstairs are the WORST.. I’ve visited all your locations several times and every time I visit this Luxe location, those two old ladies greet me with the coldest snobbiest attitude. I didn’t want to say anything because I assumed they were having bad days. Today was way over the line which made me think they are racists and assume I won’t be able to afford shopping there. It’s a shame because the staff at the other locations are great! Working in a high end store doesn’t make you a supreme beings! With that poor pathetic attitude, it’s actually opposite for you two. Very low!
I'm a huge fan of this place. It's not always cheap, but they have a good, quickly changing selection of stuff with prices that drop on a regular schedule so you can easily keep an eye on something you love but can't quite afford. I've picked up a few things here, and it's a nice spot to visit every three weeks or so. The staff and helpful, friendly, and remember everybody that comes through. They also allow dogs! Always a plus. The only thing I dislike is that some things sit for ages and don't seem to get swapped out, but they have enough new content every time I come by that it barely registers. Visit, you'll love them.
I love the Turnabout clothing shops and am an interiors addict so when I found out about this place I was so excited but upon visiting was quite disappointed. Maybe a case of personal taste and style but most of the items looked so tacky and dated very 90s aesthetic IMO. A few nice pieces set of leather and metal chairs reasonably priced but felt crowded with a lot of quite garish items. If you like gilt and flamboyant housewares you'll like this place but my taste runs more to classic and pared back scandi and mid-century American I guess. Will stick to gastown!
Good place with a well-curated selection of furniture and decor for your home. Lots of good little treasures at fairly reasonable prices as well as the occasional unique find. The website is probably 10% of their inventory, so best to go in person....
Love this store! Stock is always changing so you never know what treasures you will find. Always delightful staff too. Highly Recommend.
